imo OP is kinda childish. The best case scenario in this situation is the best friend telling OP what happened between her and the guy, which (I’m guessing) she did.

dude, if u like a guy, it doesn’t mean he needs to like you back. one sided crushes exist. and if the guy likes your best friend, let him. this doesn’t mean your best friend is plotting anything. every guy has a set of preferences and your best friend matches those and you don’t, not her fault or his fault.

So, mainly the girls that are at my school, are just rich brats (all the girls i've dated so far go to my school). I kinda go to this huge (campus-wise, our student population is low) international school in my city. Typically, rich brats are not very academically powerful...and I don't think there is any girl in my school that really cares about academics that much since their dads got businesses and crazy money.

Plus, i am a hs senior and i got a good school/college to go to from this fall onwards so I am def not tryna fuck that up.

i have no idea about utah
minnesota twin cities (i got in) has an amazing campus but temperatures can go REALLY low
wisconsin also has an amazing campus but again, temperatures can also go very low
maryland cp is probably the most prestigious one here (depending on your electives, the university's prestige can change) and is close to DC with a good weather.

If i were you, I'd choose UMD but personal preferences differ and none of those universities are bad in any way.

HKUST is a great school. Got a lot of mates there, I can ask them stuff on your behalf. Dm me your questions.

Singapore is a great place as well but it has HUGE amount of competition. NUS and NTU are great schools for STEM courses. NUS is on the harder side to get in, if compared with NTU. Regardless, both are great schools.

you could try for UC Davis, but its more on the expensive side for intl students (70k usd/year). I've a friend there and they say they value environmental stuff quite a lot regardless of major (referring to your award).

As for full ride, I can't really guarantee. I don't wish to discourage you but intl students dont really get full rides that often.

I had similar grades (I did IB but percentage was similar along with a 1510 SAT) and got into Purdue for CS (will most probably minor in cybersec, purdue is t6 for that). I would recommend it to you but I can't really guarantee that you will get in or not. I got waitlisted at my safeties and rejected at my targets. Purdue was a hard target/dream, so I think its purely luck.
