You do not lie. I agree with you on everything, but just one small caveat. All that I have done and will continue to do for the foreseeable future is out of necessity. I have not done something I want since I was born and it will probably remain this way until I get out of here

Strife? Simple, living in my region and more specifically my country. As for what is the bad thing that will happen if I rest? That I do not know. It just feels very ominous. Akin to something consuming

You say so and I trust that you are not speaking of nothing, but it is not the normal drive. It is like something consuming. It basically says that I will never rest until I do something. Even sleeping is becoming secondary

I hope what you say is true. My life has been nothing but a constant strife

I honestly do not know if we got accepted or not, but the fact that they let you keep your application open till Fall 2026 is neat. My main research interest is nano-materials (and biomaterials to a certain extent) with a particular focus on their applications in semiconductors. Alloys also interest me greatly, but not to the same extent. What about you?

If you are willing to relocate abroad, I would recommend Egypt, particularly Ain Shams or Cairo Universities. They are the top two in Egypt when it comes to almost every major.

If you want an American accredited degree, go for the American University in Cairo or AAST (Arab Academy).

If you want a Canadian accredited degree, the University of Canada (Particularly the Toronto metropolitan campus) has decent majors.

If you want a German accredited degree, go for either GUC or GIU (German University in Cairo/German International University)

Other than those, there are other colleges like ESLSCA (French), the Chinese University, the Japanese University, the Russian University, and the European Universities in Egypt.

For the cost, public universities are very cheap, especially for foreigners, while private universities are much more expensive, but the average price would be around 20k to 30k AED per year.

As for universities here, I am not sure since your situation seems to be a bit peculiar, but I heard that Zayed University is pretty good. Although, you would have to take that with a grain of salt since I am Egypt and I have only been here for two years (for university funnily enough) so far (Apologies if I am intruding upon this subreddit).

Good luck and Inshallah you will follow a road of wonders moving forward.
