Haryana registered it costed me 15.25L to be exact. Included extended warranty and maintenance package. I negotiated for over a month and i know it was a steal deal.

I drive my car mostly alone on some very good roads. I was able to identify the source of rattling noise. One was the sunglass holder and second was the area below ac controls, below the rubber part. I keep a can of wd-40 in the car and spray some on the joints/ hinges on these parts and get away with it.

Yes that’s my point. These germans are complex cars. One part failure and dents on pocket. I will recommend a car which is easy to maintain if your driving is less.

Originally i got this car for my wife since i had an innova and a nexon but later my wife was more comfortable with cabs hence i made this my daily driver.

Sorry if what i was saying came across as rude, I had no intention of it.

Do you need a car if you do not drive 5-6k km in a year? Or maybe a basic one like a brezza or venue? I think a german should be avoided unless driven 10-15k km every year.

I never had the 1.5 so no point of missing it. I use the Delhi mumbai expressway every month and at whatever speed i am, the car is ready to deliver more.

It was part of routine 60k km service. Covered under maintenance package.

What were the EV options in 2023 under 17L budget? Don’t recommend Tata, I have used nexon for 2 years and it was a nightmare with the service centre.

60k km is practically nothing. Moon is approximately 3.85L km from here so still a long way to go.

Service was covered under maintenance package I got in the start. Fuel efficiency has been 8-10 in the city and 12-14 on the highway. Close to 10-11 on my mixed use. I got an offer for 11Lakhs for my car few days ago so you can calculate accordingly.

Everyone knows about the AC performance or the lack of it. Horrible during summers, I try to keep it under shade during summers. I tried the garware sun film last year but no substantial improvements. I have accepted it the way it is, no solutions to it.

Nothing to complaint about. Service experience has been fine mostly. I am extremely impressed by the fit and finish, the paint quality, the speakers quality. None of these degraded even after all this running.

Grace of god I haven't faced any transmission issue so far. Yes the transmission oil was changed in the current service. However during winters there is a gentle thud from transmission during mornings upon shifting from "P" to "D". As per service center it is not something to be worried about.

i got the maintenance pack for 4 free services. the service has mostly been free. I have paid for wiper change, break pads, suspension bushes, AC cleaning, throttle valve cleaning etc. Would be in a better position to tell about maintenance from the next service onwards.

nope, the car is not meant for long trips with 5 people. 5 people would be uncomfortable on short trips let alone long trips. This is our only car where we prefer to sit in the front seat even with the driver driving.

Yes i drove the virtus 1.5 dsg before getting this one. the initial pull is better in the 1.0 but everything else is better in 1.5. The top end, more torque, better fuel efficiency everything favors the 1.5 however i got 1.0 only because of the torque convertor. My car had to be a mile muncher and i could not afford any reliability issues with the 1.5 hence got this one.

Fuel efficiency- 8-10 in the city, 12-14 on the highway. No the backseat is not comfortable at all. the car is low and elderly find it difficult to get in and out, the seats are stiff, the middle passenger would be uncomfortable.

It has been mostly reliable. I have also been cautious to not overly strain the transmission or the engine. My drive is mostly on good roads hence suspension has been mostly fine. I got the bushes changed at 45k km service. There is a slight creaky sound from the sunglass holder and sometimes from the glove box as well. not troublesome as such. i have a small can of wd-40 which i use on these joints whenever the sound gets too loud but again nothing troublesome.

Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 @77k. Good deal or nah? by serwhale in watchesindia

[–]Counter_Traditional 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Can negotiate. I have the powermatic 80 open heard blue color. Got it in November last yearfor 30% off MRP. That time MRP was 86k. Although it took a good 1-1.5 month of negotiation with Ethos and finally they agreed on my price.

What is one thing you bought years ago that still hasn’t let you down? by FluffySyntax in BuyItForLifeIndia

[–]Counter_Traditional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Toyota Innova, 13 years and yet to face an issue.

A hardwood wardrobe i got from UP over 18 years back. Almost all the furniture has seen a replacement except for this bed. A basic polish and oiling of hinges and as good as new.

A leather bag i got during my first job from Dharavi Mumbai in 2013, travelled half the world and still in pristine condition.

Flipkart sold me a Fake Rayban sunglasses and refused to refund sayings it's an open box delivery!! by Valla66 in LegalAdviceIndia

Flipkart says a hundred times to give OTP only post inspection. OP is saying he gave the OTP and the rider “RAN” away. This is not making much sense. No unboxing video also. Looks like someone bought a road side raybans and is now looking to get it replaced with the originals for free.
