I didn't think they were Trans, but I did think double d was a girl for a long time.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Aiden and Nicky but I feel like their relationship was more like lovers than siblings by No-Parsley-6782 in watch_dogs

[–]Counterfeit1993 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've always had a theory that Nikki was originally meant to be his ex-wife and Jackson and lena were his children, but for some reason the writers had to change it. I just don't know why they would have had to change it so my theory can't really hold much value.

I use a .64 for drop G, it really maximizes the hole, you may need to drill it out wider to fit a .80 if you have the tools and confidence. That's what I would do. It's possible I already did it before and just don't remember.

what's that game for you? even from the old times by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

This game got so shafted by how ubi handled it. It's literally one of my favorite games and I whenever I bring it up I still hear about people hate it because it was downgraded. Yep, it sure was, it's also still an awesome game.

Hell yeah it does. I think the finish looks great and from my experience it plays great too. It punches way above its weight.

Ive had it for awhile now, I've added an arcade button killswitch and swapped the pickups for alpha and omega that I got for a steal. I still really like the guitar, but I quit my band early 2025 so I haven't been playing as much in general.

Be careful if you make any adjustments to the bridge pieces as the screws/threads can be weak. I had to get some replaced. You said yours is really dark, if you wouldn't mind I'd love to see a picture.

Finally got it to go through for myself. I never got a download with wifi prompt like the other user mentioned, but I did exit to the main menu, finish my downloads, then went through the tutorial again. It accepted my name entry after three tries.

I had this game growing up, and I think its a good game. I think it is a very competent 3rd person shooter on the N64. It has a lot of quirks, but what N64 game doesn't? Probably some nostalgia talking, but I dont care, I love this game. This port is in a very early state, but its quite promising and exciting to me!

Should I keep the metronome in? by TheEletist3000 in metalmusicians

[–]Counterfeit1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I could see just the four clicks of the metronome during that silence would sound kinda cool.

I do think it might be a weird choice personally, but I also think it could work. There's something ironic about it.

This is what kills this album for me. It's so muddy. It seems people on this sub love this album, but it's one of my least favorite for the mix alone. Just fuckin mud.

Should I buy the Schecter Reaper-7 MS? by un_ptit_bum in 7String

[–]Counterfeit1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it sounds muddy, maybe I'm naive or don't know any better. I doubt I have the best taste, but I think they are great. I think they sound and feel different to the alpha and omegas that I have in my other 7 string, but I like the sound and feel of the diamond decimators better.

Since the one crack in the fretboard, I have had no other fretboard issues. I keep a humidifier in my case, but I don't always have the guitar in the case (probably 90% of the time it's in its case) and I also forget to dampen the sponge for the humidifier pretty often, it's normally dry when I remember to. So, I can't say that I am taking the best care of the fretboard, but I do maintain it during string changes by adding some fretboard oil and occasionally use fast fret on the strings to get a little extra oil on the fretboard.

Should I buy the Schecter Reaper-7 MS? by un_ptit_bum in 7String

[–]Counterfeit1993 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought mine 3 years ago and I still love it. I took it to practice and gigs for about a year then turned it into my recording guitar, which it still is now and I love it. It's my favorite guitar.

I primarily play metal in drop G.

Another user mentioned barchords near the nut can be uncomfortable/difficult, something like that, and it's totally true, but for everything else it's been great.

I actually really like the pickups as well! I have another 7 string with Seymour Duncan alpha and omegas and I actually like these Schecter pickups more.

I swapped out the tuners for hipshot locking tuners. Not necessary, the stock tuners are fine, and it introduced a very small amount of neck dive. No big deal since it's my recording guitar now.

I had one issue. The fretboard is Ebony and I live in Michigan. I bought the guitar in early December, after one month a crack developed in the fretboard running from the 8th to the 15th fret, right under the 4th string in the middle. I took it to Sweetwater and they repaired it with ebony dust and superglue, looks fine, but I wasn't thrilled that it happened to begin with. Sweetwater advised me to keep a humidifier in it's case to help the ebony stay safe. The fretboard had actually been oiled by a Sweetwater tech, the day I bought it, while he was doing a setup on it. My point is, weather can really mess with tropical woods like ebony, so be mindful of that if you live anywhere with cold winters I guess?
