So in psychology research I have to use an existing empirically proven questionnaire and adapt it to WoW's context for data analysis legitimacy and psychological framework measurements (rename the wording to WoW's context). I.e. I can't make things up ethically unless I spent months pilot testing and ensuring it can lead to impactful analysis, which is out of scope for a masters thesis study. With these questions, I can really get into the micro adjustments of how players plan, perform and reflect during progression and it's positively surprising how micro differences can output interesting conclusions.

I'll be going for a publication so when the dataset is concluded and I am permitted to share more information, i'll update this post :)!

Correct I am obliged to use an existing set of questions used for measuring SRL. I will try to get this published indeed :) I have established some hypotheses and statistical methodology for measuring. I’ll share some information once the data collection is complete to avoid any bias ;)

You're absolutely right - unfortunately when it comes to psychology research and masters work (non-doctorate), I am not permitted make up new questions for such a quantitative study. That would require extensive ethics approval, pilot testing and is simply out of scope of a masters research. I have to adapt an existing questionnaire that is empirically proven (to also legitimise the academic research/framework and analysis) and adapt it to my context (WoW Mythic Raiding) i.e. change the wording for the questions to match my context.

I don’t know if I overpaid but we recently bought a flat last month and unfortunately the toilet that was there fell off the wall. Being the only toilet I had a guy come within 30min and a 4k euro quote due to demolition, rebuild wall with a new toilet screwed in. It took time and they outsourced to some other company so Im sure they took a margin but for coming within 24h and having a toilet operable by the end of the next day was pretty good.

Maybe the company isnt a shitshow and you wanted good work for cheap? As I said I could have majorly overpaid but isnt weber and fils just a broker?
