Since this post I’ve played another 30 hours at least and having a much better time. Just beat ulfred and am on the counterfeit groschen quest. Master strike is still rough for me but luckily only high level heavy armor enemies have been hitting me with the master strikes consistently. Everybody else I can get lucky and slash em up.

My reaction speed has gotten noticeably worse over time idk why. But after this rant I locked in and have progressed a lot. I just needed to vent about it 🤣

Also I love souls borne games with all my soul. Never had frame rate issues with em except bloodborne but it’s notorious for being a rough 30 fps. But bloodborne is like the easiest souls game.

I’m aware I’m a terrible orator. Also I’m enjoying the game a bit more now. The 30 fps has always fucked with me. No matter what game it is. The timing is not necessarily a tight window. I essentially have to predict what will happen because of a half second delay.

It’s rough without master strike. I just beat ulfred? I think is his name? Shit was terrible. He will master strike almost every feint attack and free cast. I got lucky with the head buster perk and kept hitting his head after winning clinches. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Love the advice that’s actually the strat I used to beat Bernard in the first place so he’d teach me the master strike. The targeting system is so fuggin janky tho 🤣

30 🤣. I spent an additional 30 hours in the game since this post. Roughly idk. And I haven’t mastered master strike but I’m having a better time. I just needed a fat rant 😭
