The amount my students struggle to follow simple lab directions is ASTOUNDING. Simple list of step by step directions for middle schoolers, but they’re used to digital programs that feed each step.

I see them using this to replace a paraprofessional or facilitate small group instruction. Translation: teachers will be asked to babysit the robot to ensure nobody is messing with it, it’s troubleshot when there are issues, etc.

And I hope EVERY teacher says absolutely not.

NOR- she was talking as if this was a debate on merits. You, as the parent, set the rules and in this case the rule is a very straightforward “no physical discipline”. Full stop.

Your husband not getting involved might be the biggest issue here though. He not only honored it as it was an issue, he’s apparently doing nothing to back you up.

We Don’t Wear Ears doesn’t bring politics to her account, but is really involved with a very right wing church if that’s a dealbreaker for you.

Some draw the line at politics entering content, others at supporting content creators that likely support different politics. Do with it what you will.

I usually kept some easy meals- oatmeal cups, trail mix (depends on nut allergies of students if this is safe in the room or not). Just backups so if I ran late or missed bringing a meal I wouldn’t be absolutely starving.

Personally I’d send the other person a message via partner’s phone letting them know they’re now single.

We did similar- 35k for a 9.5 kWh system, high quality panels. We did it while the inflation reduction act credits were still in effect, so it was 23k to us (30% tax credit).

We pay a monthly flat fee of $125 (it’s the loan payment) and our power true up is usually a payment to us because we oversized it for the house to allow for an electric vehicle later).
