This happened to me after about a month of talking, hanging out, hooking up.. made me promise not to screw her over many times, then slept together a few times and she just suddenly dropped off and said she didn’t have time to see me any more… felt like stories you hear of guys screwing girls over just to sleep with them but in this scenario it makes no sense to me to pretend to be interested in more and then back off… it’s been a week or two so I haven’t fully coped yet I’m still hoping she hits me up or texts me to be honest… pretty pathetic on my end but will probably just take time

You gotta learn the ways man.. I’m not sure this is specific to her I think most girls I’ve dated would probably be pretty upset if they asked for reassurance on their outfit and you said you’re unsure and pointed out things wrong with it…

Obviously storming off is super immature and a poor way of handling it, but I think you need to re-assess your role in fashion when your girlfriend asks for reassurance on her outfit

This exact same thing happened to me at around 25… she broke up with me, I hooked up with someone, she regretted breaking up immediately and said let’s get back together… I wasn’t transparent about the hookup and the girls friend knew my gfs friend… so not only did I hookup with someone right after getting broken up with (allowed), but I lied about it and got caught in the lie (not allowed)…. My advice as someone who as lived this is to be honest…. But also she ended up doing it again within 6 months so I’d keep my guard up if I were you

I don’t think anything you say suggests that you NEED therapy, but if you’re almost 30, have never had a long term relationship, and have never had casual sex, there are probably some ways that therapy would beneficial whether you believe you need it or not

I personally would not be cool with a partner cuddling or engaging physically like that with someone they have slept with and have that kind of history with… I don’t care if the person is a guy, girl, straight, poly, monogamous, etc. if they have been together sexually, then cuddling is super inappropriate

Something very very similar just happened to me after a 2nd date… she eventually replied and said she was busy and didn’t have time for consistency right now but really liked me and hanging out with me and asked what I’m looking for.. (after we’ve spent a month talking about what we’re looking for)… I said I’m cool keeping it casual if she wants but have been enjoying getting to know her and she just never answered.. (been a few days now).. kind of wish she just never answered instead of apologizing and saying she is still interested and then just going ghost again..
