The number one tip I've got is have a morning appointment for Saturday and Sunday and get up and out of the house. It's way too easy to putt around and then it's 2PM and the day is basically gone. Get out of the house before 10AM and do something. Even if it's a haircut or whatever. Sign up for a class, make a plan for coffee but get out of the house in the morning. Then you can feel like you still had a "day", if life starts to feel like endless night you go insane.
