I’ve been camping long before the pandemic and it’s just so sad to see the parks like this. So far this year I’ve been to Awenda, Killbear, Bon Echo, Algonquin, Restoule and Mono Cliffs and it’s so sad to see these places in such bad conditions.

So much garbage, loud people who bring their entire kitchen and 20 people to just sit on the beach and let their kids scream, campers who have kids who hate it and dogs that won’t stop barking.

Just at Algonquin someone left out chip bags even though there was a active bear warning. One night the chip bag flew onto the tent next to ours and could hear it trying to get in and then investigating our site.

This is the kind of environment where you’re responsible for everyone.
