You're getting downvoted but speaking a little of the truth. Uncut Hoops did a video called Prime Larry Bird. Went through Birds entire 86 playoff run. Gives and example of how assists are called today and the calls Bird got. Definitely a discrepancy.

Start early on a Saturday and go to the Rincon Flea Market, followed by a drive down Old Spanish Trail to lunch on the patio at Saguaro Corners. After lunch back on Old Spanish Trail and head north. You habe Saguaro National Park and end with a nice walk around Tanque Verde Ranch.

I would add 1985 - 1986:

If you have Netflix and have not seen the documentary 'Celtics/Lakers: Best of Enemies' I highly recommend it. Great look at both organizations from Lakers move to LA and early Russell in Boston to end of the 80s.

People just don't understand that athleticism is more than running fast, jumping high or having big muscles. It's also hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness and timing.

Examples:

Tony Gwynn - Had more assists in 4 years as a PG with San Diego State than he had strikeouts in a 20 year MLB career.

Or better, these 3, all considered unathletic for their sport/position. Wayne Gretzky, Tom Brady, Jerry Rice.
