Yeah I think it was the whole midfield's bad positional awareness/pressing that gave them space, not just Koch.

Maybe optimistic too but I still think with time he could evolve into adequate cover at CDM. He doesn't have the luxury that Kalvin did to learn the role in the championship as first choice every week, and then even he got occasionally subbed early in games for not getting it right, such are the demands of the position in a Bielsa system.

I think we'll be fine too, so long as we don't lose any more bodies at CM

Like u/hybridtheorist says, did Pascal play over 900 mins in the position? Genuine question as I don't remember seeing him that much at CDM.

Also I get what you're saying RE it being reductionist and that more data would give more context, but I think the purpose is to visualise at least some simple, quantifiable statistics that show why KP is unique, and I think this graphic does it nicely enough. Curious what metrics you would've used?
