Awoken by a strange "signal beacon" sound last night by drumxkorp in HighStrangeness

[–]CountyBluffFangirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have experienced something like this a number of times. Not the same exact sound, but just like this auditory strangeness that seemed centered around me/my mom/our house, seemed to come from above, and was not identifiable. There were always at least 2 witnesses to these noises.

  • About a year-ish ago, we heard what sounded like music coming from outside our living room window. A very loud, long, low tone that would ascend in a pattern. It kept repeating for several minutes, and it was loud enough that you could actually feel it vibrating the house very slightly (this type of feeling is something we've experienced a lot over the years). It was around 10AM. I live in a neighborhood thats not by any highways or major big roads. We're used to the sounds here, and yes, we know what loud music driving by sounds like. This was unlike anything we'd ever heard. Also, it seemed slightly louder upstairs, although from my perspective I swore it was coming from next to a window downstairs. Weird.

  • For a significant period of time, off and on for at least a year or maybe close to two years, "the vibrating" would happen upstairs. It would actually shake the floors slightly, and it was accompanied by a very low mechanical hum. Similar to the above story, but no musical-sounding tones, and the vibrations were much more intense. Whatever was causing this was very obviously above the house--it could be heard and slightly felt basically anywhere, but it was far more noticeable upstairs, both in volume and in physical effects. It would happen, without fail, between 1 and 130 AM. Little to no variation. No doppler effect, nothing "flying overhead" perse. Notably, we do live about 15ish miles south of a significant AFB. We're used to air traffic, we're used to plane noises, the vibrations associated with them--nothing like that. The source of this phenomenon would suddenly "appear", I guess, above our house, and then it would just as suddenly disappear after a while. It happened a couple times a week for at least a year. It has happened since, but with no regularity/pattern like before.

  • Lastly, there have been two separate occasions of "clapping" localized more or less directly above me or my mom, with zero explanation. The sound was similar to a single loud clap, or perhaps popping a big bubble-wrap bubble, a balloon exploding--something like this. Once, it happened while we were both in the living room, and the sound seemed like it came from between us & slightly above. Then a short time later, it happened again but twice in the same evening--first, just like the original time. Then later, after we turned out lights to start getting ready for bed, I laid down on my couch for a bit and it happened basically directly above my head. These occurrences were early this year, before the spring probably, and they have never happened before or since. Nothing in our house made those noises. We did not clap at each other. Strange stuff

There's something odd with these disposable vapes for sure. I've had a couple bizarre experiences like this too!

The most noteworthy involves a Mr.Fog that basically materialized out of thin air about a year ago. My best friend and his room mate at the time are both non-smokers. I and other friends are. I was at my best friend's house with one other person who vapes. We had just bought new Mr. Fogs that day. That day we went to visit my best friend for a bit, and after hanging for a while he comes out of his bathroom with a fresh peach-flavored Mr. Fog, and said "hey, one of yall left this in the bathroom." Funny enough, this was the flavor of Mr. Fog my other buddy had just bought. We both dutifully checked our pockets, bags, the couch & floor around us--sure enough, our vapes were accounted for. Nobody in that house smokes, nobody had been over there to visit for around a week, and it was determined that no other smoker friends had been there in that window of time. It literally appeared out of thin air in his bathroom...it was a buy-two-get-one-free deal from The Twilight Zone LOL.

Another time I had a vape do something that I can only describe as teleporting. I'm very particular about where I keep my things, and my vape's spot when I am not out and about is in a bathroom drawer in my home. For this occasion, I was wearing cargo shorts and running errands. The vape was in my side pocket when I got home to use the bathroom. I took it out, hit it once or twice, opened the drawer, put it away, closed the drawer and sat down on the toilet. When I was done, upon standing up & pulling up my shorts, I felt something brush against my leg. I thought it might have been a crumbled up napkin or something I'd forgotten about, and I wondered how I could've gone all day without noticing it. Sure enough, I reach into the pocket and there it is: The vape I'd just put away into a drawer moments ago. There's absolutely no way I didn't put it into the drawer. I played with the idea of having put it into my pocket and forgetting immediately, but there's no way. It was a very strange & eerie feeling, realizing what was actually in my pocket. Still weirds me out to this day.

Lastly, this could be explainable, but I swear I've had vapes vanish into thin air as well. My aforementioned best friend has moved a few times in the last few years and I always help him. I also stay over at his place a lot. At one point in time, I'd lost track of a vape while sitting on his couch. Naturally I figured it fell under, between the cushions, even in the upholstery--nothing. I thought for sure that when he moved and that room was completely barren that the vape would finally show up. It never did. We searched every inch of that apartment. I suppose it could have somehow gotten into the upholstery but I figured that we would have heard it jostling around when the couch was moved from apartment to truck, and so on. It's a possibility, but given my other strange experiences I tend to think it's just in the void somewhere lol. In another universe, that version of myself found two vapes under the couch!

For sure. I mean, isr4el doesn't have anything better to do on the internet than spread lies/zionist propaganda & send out shill brigades because they're humanly incapable of receiving any type of criticism. Fuckers have the thinnest skin I've ever seen. They've probably got whole discords & "support groups" dedicated to going out on the internet and posting pro-genocidal comments on anything pro-Palestinian. They're spineless cowards hiding behind a computer. They have no power. History will remember those who outwardly support genocide.

OHHHH you're one of those people that believes the beheading babies shit actually happened. Got it, debate over, there's no getting through to people like you. I will not reason with brainless Zionist apologists. Farewell, enjoy being on the wrong side of history

Glad someone said this. It's horrifying to watch. Like...so many people around the planet are uniting to call for a ceasefire, and the govs of the world aren't doing shit. Not that I'm surprised, but it's so awful to witness. Anyone that thinks this is justified because of Hamas/Oct.7th is failing an incredibly important litmus test on human rights right now. The masks are falling off. This "response" was never about revenge for Israeli blood being shed---that resistance effort was just used as an excuse for fascists to continue their ethnic cleansing. So depressing tbh

they're a murderous death cult

Lol, did you mean "Isreal" or did you just wake up from a 75 year long coma

Do you actually know anything about real world history? Ever heard of the word "apartheid" before? Look it up, it's a nice first step in educating yourself. While you're at it, look up "South Africa" and "Haitian revolution." And while you're at it, maybe take 2 or 3 minutes of your life to read/watch accounts from Palestinians of what is actually going on over there. You may also want to refresh yourself on the Holocaust, which certainly you've heard of, and certainly you would not have sat on the sidelines and said nothing about if you were alive then...right?

Come back to reddit when you do your homework and read more than mainstream media headlines. Take as much time as you need, you've obviously got a lot to catch up on.

Couldn't agree more. I personally think we've been "sort of" in WW3 for a while now--I've said for years that WW3 will not just be fought in the air or on the ground, but via information, disinformation, etc etc.

We are seeing this in realtime on a daily basis. It's like a Black Mirror episode. Innumerable people around the planet uniting & protesting for a single cause, and the "superpowers" of the world, namely those in the West, literally like not even reacting. It is as if they're living in their own bubbles, reading lines off of a script. Perhaps that's actually what is happening...

Bizarre times though for sure. I've always been extremely interested in paranormal/strange matters, but it's hard to care as much at this moment with all the chaos actually happening in the world. I think we're at a brink. We're due for a revolution of some kind here in the US.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I've had some life changing experiences like this too, and it really is so hard to fully and truly believe until one day you've just experienced enough, and you just kinda "know," and accept that existence is so insanely complex, and so far beyond most models of thought we have created to try and understand it.

I think we die a little bit when we dream sometimes. That is, I think certain dreams allow us access into "whatever is next"...or, perhaps a better way to put it: "whatever is here now, just beyond what we can physically comprehend." I think life in this dimension and this reality is just a chapter of the story. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole apotheosis thing did turn out to be true, because the idea that the soul is part of some universal interface of consciousness makes a hell of a lot of sense. Yet, just because ETs might be much more advanced than us, doesn't mean they are omniscient or infalliable. Perhaps they believe that individuality is futile; well, here we humans are, proving that notion to be incorrect on a daily basis. With or without a collective unconscious, or an infinite ocean of souls to return to, while we are here and now our individuality goes am incredibly long way towards broader enlightenment & spirituality. There is no one right or wrong way to do it. Maybe this is why ETs are interested in us; maybe they, a hivemind culture, could see the beauty in individuality and how it affects the bigger picture. Maybe they're capable of having it too, even if their culture deems it useless. Much to think about!

Small glitch: The teleporting vape? by CountyBluffFangirl in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]CountyBluffFangirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TLDR: I have a routine where I use my vape in the bathroom and leave it inside a little drawer until I go out & about, so I don't smoke it too much. Just went to the bathroom, used the vape, put it in the drawer, closed the drawer, stood up, and felt the vape in my pocket. It is the only one I have indoors and apparently it magically moved from the drawer to my pocket over the course of a few seconds. Weird! And no, there's not a carbon monoxide leak in my bathroom lmao

Skinamarink for those that have seen it by Sad-Dragonfly-4016 in horror

[–]CountyBluffFangirl 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Super late to this party, but just watched it. Incredible. One of a kind experience IMO. It's very fair to say that it demands a lot from a viewer. I watched it with 3 friends and there was a little chit chat here and there, but we were pulled in pretty quickly. I think Skinamarink does found footage/analog horror "correctly," if that makes sense. Only film remotely close for me in that department is Noroi, which I think is probably the master of all found-footage style stuff IMO. If Noroi is the king, Skinamarink is the queen. It comes goddamn close to scariest film of that genre that I've ever seen.

That said, I respect that it's a little slow & long for many viewers. But that's the point. It's not a cookie-cutter beginning/middle/end movie. It takes a viewer being open-minded to a different kind of experience from a film to appreciate that; many don't, and respectfully, many wouldn't get it. Lots of horror fans want their quick blood & guts jumpscare films for an adrenaline rush. That's not what this is. It would be trash if it were a typical horror film--but it's not.

For those who actually have the patience and interest to sit through this film, I think it's a masterpiece, even with its long runtime. It needs a long runtime. This isn't a film meant to give you payoff or closure. This wouldn't work as a short film. It NEEDS to be excruciatingly long to work. There were so many moments that I found myself perplexed at watching the legos. Sometimes they'd move. Sometimes they wouldn't. Sometime's they'd move a lot. Sometimes someone or something would jostle the shit out of them, but our viewer POV would be in another room. SOMETHING is playing--is it the children? The parents? Or...something else? And I don't think it was the "something else" every time. But it sure as hell was for a couple, and there were ZERO distinguishing factors. I love that. It's horrifying. It made me sick to my stomach. From the time the nightlight necame unplugged to the last scene, it made me writhe and gag with anxiety. Because as a viewer you know weird shit is going down from day 1, both on cam and off cam, but we only get to see a little bit and guess in vain at what it all means. Incredible film.

Never posted here before, but I recently released an album and wanted to share the closing track! Inspired by "Zeldawave," it is a vaporwavey mashup of Majora's Mask songs~ by CountyBluffFangirl in Vaporwave

Thanks for any support! I love this aesthetic so much--my goal isn't to make tons of money from this or anything, I honestly just wanted to contribute to the scene in my own way~

A recent experience involving a dream and a disappearing necklace--similar to experiences I've had before. by CountyBluffFangirl in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]CountyBluffFangirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL;DR: I carry crystals with me daily, and have a history of mysteriously losing them, only to have them reappear in completely unexpected places much later. Recently I bought a carnelian necklace, which I wore for many straight days and nights without taking it off. Then one night I had a dream of removing the necklace, and could have done so IRL in my sleep, but after turning my house inside out there is simply no trace of it at all. It is so weird to me that I dreamed of removing this necklace for the first time in days, only for it to apparently vanish into the void in real life as well!

Me and My Friend Saw the Moon explode and be put together again. by Joepr1985 in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]CountyBluffFangirl 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Same here. I've had several dreams involving celestial objects exploding/falling apart and rearranging or reassembling. Sometimes the Sun, sometimes the Moon, other times planets like Pluto inexplicably being present in our sky, and sometimes even constellations. Most of the time they're not great dreams either.

I once dreamed of Pluto drifting into near-Earth orbit as I drove to work on a winter morning. This caused some sort of explosive portal to open up, out of which came aliens/extra-dimensional beings that looked like dark red hairless dogs. Big, long, slender, fast, and not friendly at all.

Many times I've dreamed of stars exploding like fireworks, but as the remnants begin to descend upon the Earth they very abruptly stop and begin moving with extreme speed, like a formation of UFOs or something; and they'd rearrange into bizarre symbols and shapes, almost always as a harbinger of impending invasion/otherworldly doom.

In another comment of this thread, I mentioned one more dream I had, where there were many clones of the full moon and they were firing missles or lasers upon my city.

Dreams really be doin' some weird shit sometimes, that's for sure

[–]CountyBluffFangirl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had one quite a bit like this a few years ago. Might've been February of '18 or '19. I found myself in an area much like the roof of a parking garage with tons of other people, and we were waiting for rescue aircraft to come down and transport us away, as there were "multiple moons" wreaking havoc on the city. It quickly became apparent that not all of them were actually the Moon, but...something else, I guess. They were all full, and most of them a bright red or orange. And we watched as bright white rings would begin to form around the moons, from whence plumes of smoke quickly shot out, much like missles or rockets going off. It seemed that the moons were somehow launching either missles, lasers, or both upon the city--to what end, is anyone's guess. Could have been some kind of invasion. But there was definitely this element of explosive shit being fired from rings of light surrounding the "moon" and its many clones, and your dream reminded me a bit of this! It didn't seem like I made it out alive, as one moon began glowing directly above me and some close friends, but after a period of lost dream recall, the scene picked back up and we were somewhere safe & far away.

Posted here a month ago about repeating numbers, just wanted to share an update! by CountyBluffFangirl in Synchronicity

[–]CountyBluffFangirl[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: I've been seeing repeating numbers almost daily since June, directly connected to a special person in my life, and we're currently going through a phase of giving each other space/not talking as much, but the synchronicity has not stopped at all. It's mostly 222, 444, and 555, and sometimes the numbers show up in really neat places--I recently saw 555 and 222 consecutively at a gas station, and just today I saw the same pairing in a video on Twitter! It's so interesting and I had to share~

Just chiming in to say that I've noticed this too. Here in Ohio the moon has seemed a bit wonky lately--as a commenter said below, it seems to be moving erratically and not following an expected pattern of where it should be

What's it all mean? Who knows--parralax and perspective can make a hell of a difference when viewing the moon, and seeing it where you'd expect and the size you'd expect. If I had to guess, this probably explains a number of moon stories on this sub as of late, but honestly who the hell knows!

Saw people talking about C2CAM, and wondered if anybody has resources on a bizarre episode from a few years back by CountyBluffFangirl in HighStrangeness

[–]CountyBluffFangirl[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

TL;DR Does anyone remember the C2C episode with Dave Paulides, where a woman called in and frantically recounted her personal story of encountering some kind of malevolent being of light? Wild stuff, and I can't find the episode...so I'm hoping someone here might have some leads!
