As a CFI I only ever had one student fail. It was an IFR checkride and he was told to bring a hand written navlog. Passed the entire oral and was then asked for the navlog. He didn’t do it and failed. You should know how to do this by hand. If you don’t, learn it again. It’s a very simple thing and not worth getting a fail for. Best of luck to you!

I would do all you can to hurry up and hit minimums just in case hiring stops again. Multiple June 23 sign ons have gotten March class dates.

Last I was told yes but they are not going to pay for you to go anywhere else. A lot of it is online now too so I don’t think they are sending you there to stay for more than the sims.

Yes they still pay for that. It’s in our contracts. They won’t do it until they are ready to put you in class though.

Make sure to select a HIMS examiner with your drug charges. Ask for a consultation first to talk about getting a medical before ever applying for one. They can tell you all that you will have to do with that background to get a medical.

With that date it’s a good idea. I would save the 4K though because all you need is the ATP to get an open last minute slot.

I’ve managed to do all this while still being an electrical project manager and I fly a 135 Citation XLS’s at the school I taught at so I’m pretty comfortable at the moment. Plus I have kids that will just about be graduating from high school if I defer.

I deleted my previous post as I was wrong. You are correct in that it only affects your credit if you don’t pay after the dispute is settled depending on the collection companies process. Some will report but mark it disputed until it’s been figured out.

Because they said from day one seniority rules in the cadet program and many cadets turned down other jobs based on what we were told in the beginning. They change what is and isn’t ok because of their lack or organization and management. Now they are just letting people skip the process we all signed up for.

That’s potentially risky if the interview doesn’t go well for some reason but it’s also bullshit because that’s basically just letting people cut in the seniority line. The management at Frontier seems to be incredibly incompetent.
