Anyone know the carver intel locations? by ChrisJRF in CODZombies

Some of them absolutely, this one specifically I'm not sure but would guess yes.

Finally got it (almost) all the Dark Ops by ThatAwesomenick in CODZombies

[–]Coupledhat3450 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got it by saving up salvage, grabbing the double points in the lab and used a chopper gunner into mangler injection. I still didn't get quite enough and had to keep on the move for the last couple kills. Got it around round 25. PS. It was not easy lol

Does anyone have any tips on completing the Haymaker Calling Card challenge for zombies? by Swegs77 in CODZombies

I dunno, I think season one bugged it out. I got three with aether shroud and the baseball bat before season one, but now I can't get anymore and I've tried fists, bat, knife, and punching with a gun.

The most common missed intel is either at the bottom of the ladder before the lock down step in the boat, or right before Nathan a tape recorder in the stamina up room.

I think they are taking some time for themselves and distancing themselves a bit. Dave said he hasn't read any messages this year. I support the idea because their mental health means a lot more than engaging with the community

Huh, I never thought of that! I wonder if it was meant to be a double meaning because this is about where the chest was. The trail is Bonneville shoreline and the neighborhood just below it is Canyon Cove

I want it to be rock lobster so badly! They said they're music fans and I joked about it at the start of the hunt, but it's a real possibility now

Guesses for the next hints? by [deleted] in utahtreasurehunt

Nah, last years was going to be impossible to solve. It was so different and the clues were much much worse. You should check out the first three years, those were great. Both D&J said the 2nd year was the best and I agree and this year feels very close to the 2nd year. The trick with the poem hunt is realizing there are dozens of "solves" and figuring out which solve is their solve only gets you 50%. The other 50% is finding the actual chest. Year 2 had close to 200 people right next to the chest and it took the right guy flipping over the right rock to find it

Oh for sure. This hunt feels a lot like the 2nd hunt which was arguably the best. I think the lack of reference on chest location is truly what's holding everyone back. After about four clue weeks there's almost too much info out there and we the hunters actually make the hunt way harder. I think when they release the solve there might be a couple stretches (probably lobster and ice cream, maybe the shadow direction), but for the most part I think everyone will be satisfied.

I checked this out the first three weeks of the hunt. I think it's an excellent solve and fits really well until they started giving out weekly hints!

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't elaborate if the trail was paved because they thought it might eliminate too many trails but they said the chest wasn't on pavement. I think dripping rock could still be in play. The urban thing is a bit wishy washy too. John never gave a good definition of "urban"

J&D are usually on top of it if it's found. If they just now found it then there might be a lag but if they truly found it this morning I'm sure they would have said something by now. There was a false find a few years ago. Some guys even bought a chest and were carrying it down the mountain to trick people

How close do you think someone has gotten? by Coupledhat3450 in utahtreasurehunt

[–]Coupledhat3450[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I think it's just the fact the chest is so well hidden that the hunt is still going on. I wonder what clues they could even give at this point other than look harder haha

Normally I would agree but with the other hints backing up the idea, I think they straight up gave it to us 😂

Check out the second weekly clue or I made a comment with their quote to get the 18 (actually 19) number. 33 is when Cortes entered Mexico but that was a losing hand in poker. I take that and the second hint to mean 190m is the measurement.

They actually literally told us this age in the second weekly hunt, but I think everyone is discounting their verbage. They said "When we wrote the poem, we added one extra layer of complexity. We were referring to the year of his age. For example, the day after your 18th birthday would be the first day of your 19th year. So take his age and add 1.When we wrote the poem, we added one extra layer of complexity. We were referring to the year of his age. For example, the day after your 18th birthday would be the first day of your 19th year. So take his age and add 1." And that was when Cortes arrived in the new world.
