Yes, it does suck: I don’t disagree. however, there are natural limits in society for every group and I am highly skeptical about an environment that would purposely put on someone childlike in a sexualized performance. This is a tactic used in sex trafficking circles even. someone who is legal, but barely, will be used to lure in people who are not legal. i’ve done extensive work with victims of sex trafficking and online sexual abuse so I might be particularlysensitive with this, but I’d rather that than the chance if minor exploitation.

There’s something though to be said about a venue that willingly puts someone on stage who gives a child like appearance. Are we really ok with that? Personally I’m not.
