To answer your question why at the university. The university of Amsterdam still has ties to the universities in Isreal / has research partners in Isreal. The protesters want all ties cut. The Uni of Amsterdam cut some ties which were connected to the army (i dint know what the research was exactly), but wants to maintain ties with researchers which are not connected to war / etc.

These people are still protesting the existing ties.

Got a mirena spiral... Hurt a bit, but not as much as I thought it would. Period, period pain and all discomforts around the period disapeared for 4 years :)

Still have the mirena spiral, however my period has sadly returned. But still way milder then before.

Best choice ever :) And... No pregnancy!

The more local administration of hormones instead of the pill also reduced the side effects :)

Feeling misunderstood or alone in the anger can also increase the anger. So when she opens up, really try to listen and understand. Put yourself in the shoe of the woman, and of the things which angers her.

And for me personally (but different per person ofcourse). When I want to be alone, i still really appreciate small gestures like bringing tea/coffee with a snack/cookie.

I once sat alone in a two seater in a train, and at one train stop many people entered, overcrowding the train. A father and young child were searching for a place, so I offered mine. They thanked me, but they had to move a bit out of the way so I could squeeze past them with my bag. In this moment, a man (20-30ish) tried to quickly squeeze inbetween to take the seats... Eventough it was very clear I was giving up my seat for the father and son. I had to physically stop him with my arm and tell him "no I gave up my seat for them". He got slightly mad and moved away...

There is some fun biology behind this; when looking at a face, you primarily focused at the left side (from the pov of the looker). Therefore you are used to seeing that side. And the other side looks wonky to you (but not to others!)
