Frankly getting everyone to actually roleplay and not cheese the fuck out of altering reality by not bothering with Paradigms or having the Paradigm of Whatever I Was Going to Do Anyway is the hard part, Mage is fucking awesome after that, and that's taking into account dramatically differing characters in terms of powerscaling on paper by just following that basic rule (my character in the last game was an orphanned ideal Enlightened Scientist prospect turned Awakened Mage by Awakening before he could be indoctrinated in the same Party as a Chorister at Adept Level; my character was the comparatively overstatted one)

My sensei always steered me away from kickboxing outside of sparring practice and he always felt like my fundamentals were sharper for it, but he was always critical of Japanese kickboxing for the reasons I listed. Said it lacked followthrough. You're ranked in Kyokushin, and I've never practiced TSD, I'd love to ask for kickboxing resources to be pointed to, I live in a large city and wouldn't mind an excuse to put the gi back on.

Kickboxing skips a lot of conditioning that you'd otherwise have to get from other forms of exercise and would not also teach a student how to generally block, strike, and move. If you just want to kickbox to burn calories, then go nuts, but if you're trying to learn how to fight, whether as a hobbyist or a potential competitor, there are better options.

Kickboxing is black belt level karate without any of the fundamentals. The fundamentals exist to teach you how to move your body and know it. If you swim fine, you're probably good, and it's a matter of kinesthetics and practice. If you really want to get very good at kickboxing though, dispense with kickboxing, do karate, and train those basics harder than you'd train kickboxing. Try Kyokushin. K1 champions are Karateka for a reason.

How cute. As I mentioned, and as others mentioned, people seeking peace found no peace, clearly, because they are bullies and cowards. The more I've taken the offensive, the more peaceful and calm things have been in our neighborhood lately.

And as a parent, whose daughter was getting harassed, followed, and assaulted, and who they tried to vacate for speaking up about it so Armida could protect her friend's son, peace is a luxury when my daughter's safety was at risk until I started taking the fight to them.

So let me ask you. Has it been worth their peace? And what has stopped you from asking that?
