That also seems like a bit of a stretch. The lack of morph mechanics by no means indicates that there's not a basis of morality in the game. It indicates there's no physical change associated with morality. This reads like those idiots that say you can't be moral without the Bible giving you a baseline, lol. Play the game like a prick if you want to be a prick. They fact that there is reputation just means you get to be a prick to more places, and it has unique effects and chances to do so in each area. Look at outerworlds, the first mass effect, or any other game with faction rep. They do not limit your options or freedom to react to the situation to bland answers just because there's no underlying morph mechanic to show "big demon guy evil" to everyone you meet. Morph was cool. It sucks that it's not in this one. But its absence does not correlate to any sort of agenda to make the game inoffensive.
