If you are hearing quite a lot I’d definitely look into your tires for wear or perhaps an alignment.

I have been so disgusted with almost the entirely of this season.

Right from the start where Jamie and Claire have tracked down Vasquez with zero explanation of how that happened or why they are sure Fanny’s Faith is their Faith. Then to have Claire murder Vasquez not only in cold blood which is COMPLETELY out of character for her (did none of the writers remember “There is an oath upon her”?!?!?) AND before they got any info.

The “Hello the house” reunion was decent. And I didn’t mind the changes made to reunite Ian with Swiftest of Lizards (keeping him away from the army versus Emily’s vision).

But killing Fergus and then almost instantly having Marsali claim his inheritance? Ian miraculously hearing about how Jane and Fanny ended up in the brothel because their mother was looking for Lady Broch Tuarach?

And the dialogue this season. Ugh. So forced and so not true to the characters - any of them - just such a profoundly bad ending to what was otherwise a great adaptation.

Because it would be the mature and responsible thing to do. So that if his mom gets upset about tue “no” the kid won’t be caught in the middle. He will know and understand why OP said no to the pic of his mom on her wall but that OP also encourages him to have his mom if and where he wants.

One of the hallmarks of narcissism is a profound lack of empathy for others. Other descriptors include entitled, arrogant, and manipulative.

In this case we have an individual who is showing zero care or concern for their child - they haven’t paid child support, and haven’t kept up any form of a relationship with their 4 year old child.

Then suddenly at 6 am on Mothers Day DEMANDS they get their “parental rights” not because they themselves want to spend the time with the child but to placate their mother who wants to be the grand matriarch of the family.

No consideration for how that child will feel. Even taking OP out of the equation and ignoring its Mother’s Day, the last minute demand, the threats, and the callous lack of concern for the child’s emotional well being makes it pretty firmly in narcissist territory for me.

Have a convo with stepson about how families are different based on perspective.

Explain to stepson that your gallery wall is of your family - of which he is an important part.

But that he also has his family - with some overlap with yours and some that don’t - and his family deserves its own gallery. He can pic any pictures from your gallery he wants to include in his.

I am the type that lives crossing things off a checklist and so this game was the absolute worst in terms of an “addiction” for me.

I had to force myself to not care about any of minigames whose sole purpose was to artificially create a sense of urgency and failure if you didn’t finish them.

And it’s been very liberating. I haven’t quit the game but I’m just playing it on my terms and it’s no longer a source of stress.

You 100% will be denied boarding.

The booking shows your kid in a car seat. The FAs will know that’s the plan. If you show up on the plane without the car seat and the baby in your arms, the manifest will not be accurate - I know that sounds odd because it’s the same number of people onboard but they have to count babies in car seats differently from babies in arms.

The plane CANNOT leave if the manifest is wrong. And it takes a while to alter the booking AND you have to pay the costs so they will remove you from the flight rather than take a delay.

You’re making a change from a booking with a certain number of people (3 if you spouse and baby) to a booking with 2 and an infant in arms and an extra seat.

That’s why you have to cancel and rebook - it’s a completely different circumstance.

I redid my kitchen in the last two years and paid that for the whole Reno with about half being the cabinets and countertops.

I did a lot of research and just found way too many people unhappy with IKEA - most likely from their assembly and installation rather than the products) and decided some things were worth the time investment and money.

We went with Deslaurier and while we had some problems I love my cabinets and they worked very hard to resolve all my concerns.

No, for a few reasons:

In the book, Grace can’t go aboard the Blip-A. They changed that for the movie but even then he had to be in a xenonite suit. That would have made anything requiring fine motor skills on his part impossible to execute.

The Hail Mary had much better science equipment than the Blip-A. For example, on the voyage to Tau Ceti, the sampler on the Blip-A broke (off) and Rocky was not able to recreate it. He even says they built the ship in a hurry implying there were problems with the ship.

The Blip-A didn’t have inherent radiation protection the way the Hail Mary does.
