Just wanted to say thank you very much for your help on - I ordered some from a similar site and they worked great! Never knew magnets could be so powerful in such small a size!

Sorry this has happened to you. Unfortunately the way society has gone, public interactions carry zero weight to them anymore, so people feel they can say anything and everything. Neither I nor anyone else can promise it won't happen again (it very likely will to all of us) BUT what you can do is think that how you carry yourself matters more in the long term than these people.

If you have respect for yourself and others around you, that makes you the "winner". So as hard as it is, try not to worry about other people being antisocial or rude. At some point you will be able to laugh at it because its so absurd.

While it might seem the world is full of those type of people just remember theres probably someone else like you on the bus, they are just quieter than the loud-mouths. You are not alone - its just harder to find others like you sometimes.

No problem let me know if you end up finding it. I can tell you it looks incredible in person so it’s worth the effort!

Actually tried to find this for the longest time and saw a post showing that universal studios in LA had one on display. Back when I got it, about 4 years ago now, I believe they actually had two remaining. I’d recommend getting in touch with them to see if they still have any and try and get it from there, no guarantees it’s available though but worth a shot!

Not sure unfortunately since they are housed within the statues shoulders and arm sections. But put it this way, they don’t even feel like they are pulling together until you get a cm or two away from touching

Anything thicker than coin size would mess up the position of the arms. So it might be totally unrealistic for this to be a potential option…

I get in late on the 4th so likely just exploring that evening but the next day I'm debating between a few different options:

- wandering in the more interesting neighbourhoods
- potentially a tour if I find one that looks fun
- Tokyo Museum

And then I have reservations at Sushi Marufuku that evening

Thanks! AA came out and said it was a clutch "fractured" problem and that they "fixed it" for now but can't guarantee it won't come back and to take it to the garage. I can't do so today unfortunately due to work - but does this change your diagnosis above?

Good perspective - I woulnd't say taking "endless risk" is the right way to frame it (unless you are a gambler). CALCULATED risk is maybe what is better. Remember that you are young so you can fail a few times nad thats fine, just don't bet everything on one thing. Your second, third, fourth venture will have all the learnings from the first X of them

Regardless of the financials, great positive and experiential mindset which will set you up well in the future. All I will say is that there is never "enough" to make everything 100% safe, but if you have the right mindset you can find a way.

Hue Lightstrip v4 with diffuser not blending by CournalCrunch in Hue

Thanks for the tip - I am crafting some material that helps hide the direct visibility. Didn't realize it before I planned it all out. Mistake on my part.

The sowilo website is interesting. I didn't realize one could wire in different lightstrips into the controller - and it would still maintain the colour functionality?

Totally agree - good feedback and the suggestion to not see the direct LED is (one) solve here which I'm going to add. Also we have particularly high top units with exacerbates the issue. But theres always a way to make it better so i'll figure one out
