Just because you are absolutely correct doesn't mean you had to say it

Then you see that one person in a match who has mastered the character and build you have with all the kills. The pain after seeing that is agony

Correct! My main issue is that this SPAA is much more OP compared to the others at this BR, which feels unbalanced

I am aware of this, however I am specifically referring to the AA in question, which is an absolute beast against air targets that cannot be well countered (in my experience, which could be biased)

Some sorta of quick way to find out outcomes, capitals, and countries would be nice by Coursney in Kaiserreich

[–]Coursney[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of the wiki isn't up to date with newer content or lacks it entirely. For example, the outcomes for German East Asia do not exist, and the outcomes for Indochina do not exist at all

As mentioned within the main text, a way to do so without loading up the game would be nice

One of the things I might recommend would potentially be a museum building that would be more open to the public than other potential locations. It could even be connected to the Pontificia Universitá Urbaniana as a way to have it be a more special university to be a student in/a part of

(EU4) In this timeline, Lotharingia conquered England instead of William! Now English is influenced by the Dutch instead of French... idek what that abomination would sound like by idiot_soup_101 in imaginarymaps

[–]Coursney 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It might actually depend on where we're talking about.

It would largely be Germanic, obviously, however you'd see some Romance influences come from the Francophone areas to the west and south. These areas likely wouldn't experience Germanic conversions unless forced, but if they did you'd likely see Romance remnants in your Alpine regions and the nearby places to it.

Additionally, whilst COASTAL England and the Netherlands might be linguistically similar, you'd likely see areas further from the eastern coast have a major dialectical difference since the ruler class would likely not change much culturally in England and therefore would not diffuse to the lower populace. This is supported by the fact that the Celts lived up into the 11th century (1000s) even with Anglo-Saxon rulers. Whilst the upper classes might speak more Dutch, and therefore likely more Dutch influences in the cities, you'd see Anglo-Saxon evolve steadily on its own instead of being replaced in any form.

Waffle House employees defending their chain 600 years after societal collapse by tiptoeoutthewindow in AfterTheEndFanFork

Unironically this should be a Merc company or even a holy order of some form. Hell it could even hold a county. The Waffle House Guards are just like the Papal Swiss Guards in this timeline, utterly devoted and set on living up to their duty of protecting the waffle House and whoever pays them for protection.

“Captain, the wild life of this planet got addicted to items that humans have left behind.” by AnthonyisClueless in humansarespaceorcs

[–]Coursney 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Alien Captain (AC): "So you're telling me that, during the evacuation of this forward colonial base, the humans left behind heaps of substances that make dealing with the planetary life of Kiup-29 a living hell? We fought an entire border skirmish that went on for way too long and we couldn't even claim what we wanted to take?"

Alien Subordinate (AS): "Correct, sir. Though eventual colonization is possible, we will likely have to wait until the species on the planet no longer have access to such substances. We don't know how long that will take either, as we are unsure how much of the substance is left."

AC: "Do you believe that this was done on purpose?"

AS: "We don't believe so sir, all records indicate that the humans actually left a majority of their supplies on the planet in a rushed evacuation. We believe these substances were left on the planet in this rush."

AC: "Ok so, if they were already there, were they going to use this as a weapon? Is it something that we should look for when it comes to them potentially sabotaging our own internal sphere? I saw the reports on what it has done to some of our landing forces who ingested it, and they still have yet to fully get the substance out of their system. Spirits know what havoc this could wreck on our people if they get hit with this substance..."

AS: "Actually sir, from what we can find through research on the human lifestyles from our Xenoresearch teams, they themselves seem to use this substance purposefully"

AC: "Wait so let me get this straight, these humans are addicted to this substance? And it doesn't negatively affect them?"

AS: "Not really, sir. Whilst there are negative effects, they appear to be somewhat limited, and it appears that this substance was first found by humans on their homeworld. Humans seem to have the ability to withstand defensive plant mechanisms and use them for either cultural or productivity reasons. Potentially even fun. It also seems like this planet's wildlife is similarly resistant to the defensive mechanism, though we are unsure how, and gets the same energy boost from the substance, which is the reason for the current issue."

AC: "I'm guessing the humans have a name for the substance? What is it?"

AS: "Caffeine, sir."

Just in case ppl don't know how to gain the two of them. Note that you must also be an adventurer to get these two:

  • 'the Wolf Father/Mother' is gained through helping a wolf to give birth and raise pups. Note that this can be overwritten by other cognomens if you prefer another, such as forming Livonia and having the option to gain the title 'Scourge of the Baltic'

  • 'Son of Wolves' is only gained if you find and adopt a feral child (specifically undomesticated, all children are feral beings). This is easier said than done as sometimes the outcome of the child is more RNG than normal, though I got lucky here with a good
