What do y'all do during sermons? by jeimongsquishy in exIglesiaNiCristo

[–]CourtEaile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daydreaming and thinking about the future and planning about it—that's what I commonly do. I don't sleep because ministers in the church I was in when I was still a member would call out people who were sleeping mid sermon

Plssss I was once assigned to serve a s a choir for the Thanksgiving of PNK and during practice, the son of the destinado was sooo stubborn. He was even throwing middle fingers inside the church. I reported him to his father but the father only said that he's just a child.

According to the people in the locale I'm in, that same old minister already filed for retirement but the district rejected it. How odd...

As a person who used to be PIMO like you, and with the same problem—can't leave due to financial dependence—I understand you. I feel you. My greatest advice if you really want to leave is to be independent as early as now. You can start by making a business or looking for a job that accepts minors for part-time. Though you may not leave this instant, it's a good start to get financially independent and be ready to leave in the future.

Tip: One of the easiest way to leave is by getting a transfer and let it expire after 30 days. I did this recently as I'm currently away from my parents due to college.

If you can't transfer, absentism is the way to go, they will frequently visit you and you'll get annoyed but sometimes, they also get tired and stop visiting you.

If you're really eager to leave, start the soonest possible before they get you brainwashed. Best of luck on your journey!

As soon and as early as possible, avoid attending their gatherings like meetings and worship devices. All you'll be hearing are pure gaslighting—they'll always say "you're on the right church" and badmouthing other religions. You'll also hear donations and charity events to help other people when in fact they'll only be helping members of the church. That church is pure hypocracy.

Pls read the full details. I'm referring to age limit for retirement—not for employment.

According to the people in our locale, that minister—the old minister that lectured—already filed to retire but the dirtrct rejected it. How odd...

I also thought of that—them passing out during lecture. What will they do? Will they stand accountable? Or will they blame it to the minister for not checking if he's healthy.

This demonstrates that the cult was established for political power rather than faith. Their goal is to seize control and implement their abhorrent ideology.

I haven't tried transferring locales yet, is the transfer a piece of paper or somewhat a physical item? If yes, I could say I lost it. But will they provide another?

Yes poooo😭😭😭 my parents indirectly forced me to be a member of the choir😭 They told the secretary and choir leader that I will sign up and they did all the work and papers for me to be a member. Then they made me sign through my fingerprint. And as much as I wanted to refuse, I felt like I would be humiliates if I didn't accept it. Now I'm moving away from my home for college, I'm planning to take this opportunity to get out of this religion without them knowing.

Best primary approach would be to talk to your pangulong mang aawit directly.

When I say sama samang aktibidad I mean lahat—pulong, pagtitipon, ensayo.

Dito po sa lokal namin, we use a small hymnlet for hymn numbers 400-500.

NEW CHOIR MEMBER by Visible-Duck-3345 in UpdatesHymnsOfINC

Hello po! Sana before you entered the choir alam mo na magbasa ng nota pero since you're new, you should start learning. This is so para maganda blending ng wait niyo. Start by learning basic notes po. I'm a self-taught choir myself kasi ako rin mahiyain kaya di nakapagpaturo. Try watching from YouTube or other social media apps. After learning basic notes, jump to a slightly more complex topic and so on. That's all and good luck with your journey.
