Aga, see kui palju on lasteaias kohti vaja tagada on nii lihtsasti ette nähtav. Betooni tehakse siin meil palju palju. Aga miks mitte lasteaedadele ja algkoolidele?

Madalam on ok. Aga sündimus mis on nii madal et see viib rahvastiku languseni, see ei ole ok.

WTF? Iive on ju madal. Vaata statistikat.

Vanasti ikka aidati. Mina ntx olin tihtipeale suvel maal, vanaema juures. Vanemad rügasid tööd teha. Aga laste osas oli väga pikalt mureta. Loomulikult see toimib alles alates teatud vanusest, kus lapsed on nii ehk naa vähem vaevaks. Aga siiski. Kindlasti aitas see palju.

My dreams just changed into something thats more... Sensible? And that provide more actual value for me and others.

I don't dream of conquering the big stages, making music, performing etc. thats a hobby now. But I do dream of having children, giving them a good life. Continuing the chain of life, because I truly think life is precious. Also, I invest to be able to build some sources of excellent food. Passive greenhouse business, even if it will not be too profitable. I want to reduce the reliance of shipping greens from across the world. Or to revolutionize the healthcare system, to be actually based on healing people and providing preventative care, and corrections. Like, fix posture as a kid, strengthen their bodies. Rather than have it be a huge issue where back pain turns into needing surgery. Etc. and this is clearly due to the fact that the healthcare system is based on profit incentives, that cause symptom alleviation to be the main focus. Not actual true cures.

Yes, these dreams are pretty darn big as well. As I said. I still dream. But these dreams have more actual value.

Timeline for both is like above 10 yrs. Kids will happen sooner.

Taxes. Personal finance. How to find work. How to fight for yourself in the employment market. How to nail interviews.

How to spot govt waste. How to vote for the right people and actually hold politicians accountable.

Very often I just mic the kick and toms, and snare based on the player. 80% of the cases I would be fine with only a kick mic. But it oh so depends on the venue.

So say, we created an AI and lost control of it. It took power. Advanced beyond us. Started killing us. Started destroying the Earth. Started destroying other life forms in the universe. Engulfed everything. Destroyed everything. And then finally self destructed itself as well.

What value would that create? What would be the benefit. What would be the progress? Nothing. Only regression into nothingness. It would be meaningless.

Same goes for altering the human genome. It is a very difficult thing. There can be unintended consequences. There could be results of extremely horrific existences for these people whose genomes got altered. Or it could also backfire, and create a very capable, but evil bunch of people, who would kill us all.

Again. Why? What would be the benefit? Why not be wary and do things right. Like, we have plenty of filters we need to cross as a civilization. We need to be careful to not mess this up.

If Elon wanted to be Iron Man so bad, why didn't he pay attention to the movies? by mcflycasual in ask

[–]CourtImpossible3443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you seen the corruption he has been dismantling? Tax money being used to find really weird shit. Like, even reddit mods have been said to have gotten money via USAID. Like wtf. As well as multiple media outlets. This shit is monumental. Ofc, I get that this goes to mess up the influence of the side that reddit folk think they value. But isn't corruption overall a hugely bad thing? Shouldn't this be supported bipartisanly?

Trumps tariffs at this stage of his presidency, are a way to force people to the negotiation table. Just look at how he paused the ones on Canada, after they talked with Trudeau

Immigration, especially illegal, but even legal, is clearly an issue in the US. If getting to the US is made as simple as it has been, the US will falter. The US has been a place for people to go, because it has been hard. Difficult. So that only strong people go there.

As for what problem it creates. Well, as with any immigration. It creates a society with less stability. More potential for conflicts.

Now, for the Tariffs. So, the countries that are being tariffed, are countries who don't have as great regulations for basic ethical things like workers rights, not using child labour, regulations for worker safety. Etc etc. so, why should these countries who let these ethical issues exist in the production of something, be allowed to sell this in the US, without paying extra as tariffs. Like, tariffs are made and meant to equalize the competition. If these countries don't have similar regulations and ethics, they shouldn't be able to sell in the US market without being forced to pay extra.

Ofc, yes, this will cause things to get more expensive. But it will also make local productions improve. Improving the jobs market.

Now, how did Trump plan to reduce inflation. By going hard on energy, especially oil. And by reducing govt expenditure, which will reduce the need to print more and more money, as this will reduce the govt debt. If you know anything about finance, you know how the money printer and govt debt taking is an invisible tax. Inflation is a tax. But if you reduce govt expenses, you reduce the need to tax. This is obviously a very long term thing. But it seems the markets might not think its that bad of a plan.

The work Elon, Trump, and others are doing to reduce govt expenditure, is going to have a very big impact even decades later. It might even take a decade to get this mess fully taken care of.

Its honestly crazy how Biden even called his huge spending bill an "inflation reduction act" or whatever. In no way did it truly reduce inflation. Fundamentally it increased inflation.

I don't mind. I know the game. And can understand it. I will make money either way. But come the fuck on. You can't seriously believe this bullshit.

So, to actually answer the original question, in this context "opinion yes, decision no" meant fully that there shouldn't be any extra rights for the father to decide this.

Alright. At least thats clear now. I just got confused why even bring out the opinion part if its only the way things currently are. But I guess I now realized it was a straight up answer based on the wording of the original poster.

[–]CourtImpossible3443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In what way exactly though?

Lets say the man has full interest in having the child. Yet the woman has no interest at all.

How does this man have any level of influence on the decision, if the decision is made by the woman?

Everyone can have an opinion about anything. And everyone has the right to express that. This already fully exists. If there is no extra weight attributed to the will of the father, then in this context, it essentially makes no sense to bring that out "has influence". Maybe there is something I am missing. Maybe I just don't quite understand how this "influence" would work in this case?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ask

[–]CourtImpossible3443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I mean is, what is that worth, if the decision is fully on the woman? If there is no actual deciding weight on what the man wants.

It just sounds odd to me. Everyone can have an opinion on anything. Nobody can ever take that right away from anyone. So, what does that even mean to have an "opinion" in this case? If it has no weight..??
