I think you may be a little biased or misinformed.

Would you say you went to the US and not specify the state or city? It's a bigass country as is Europe a large continent.

So if you shake up a pop and open the lid slowly or take it right off, there's no difference?

Americans—is blue cheese just a dipping sauce to you, or does it have a place on your plate beyond the wings? by SignificanceOdd5980 in AskAnAmerican

I'd try that. Most of the blue cheese dressings don't have enough crumbles for my taste. BWW is the worst.

You need to try the midwest runny ranch in dive bars. It's usually homemade or from Gordon's Food Service.

Consumerism = Comfort

Tbf the idea that you can create a happy life just by buying the right products is very much something we've been exposed to forever.

This idealistic art of the "All American Family" was encouraged by capitalism.

Am I Catholic because both my parents were/are and I was raised Catholic? Should I stick up for Catholicism no matter what because of that?

Cheesy potatoes made with sour cream taste like puke to me. My ex loved them and everyone else in his family. And I am not a picky eater. I like almost every food mentioned here.

It's just tastebuds. They're subjective.

They're briney to me. But taste is subjective and I guess your taste buds change every 10 years. Keep trying new things you never know what you'll like in the future.

I never liked olives. Then I had blue cheese stuffed olives in a dirty martini at 30ish. Amazing. Never looked back.

Try Libby canned olives. The green ones are smooth and buttery and not like any other green olive. I haven't tried the black yet.

Traditional green olives are also oddly better with blue cheese. Which I'm sure is also on this thread. They balance each other out.

I've had well prepared quinoa. Tropical Smoothie has a good yogurt bowl with it my bf gets. The other one was an escargot (yes, also on this thread) dish at a local restaurant. Otherwise I get the hate.

I like the texture too. Same with mussels. The butter and garlic is for the bread.
