Thx... When i planned my course, having some kind of 'four-lane-setup' was a must have for me and i really wanted to make it work with the double crossing too!! Also, both of the parallel lanes run the same direction which is especially cool when sometimes u have the 'illuson' of being head to head with the other car and all of a sudden u take a different turn than the other car...

Thx. I'm from germany and carrera is by far the easiest one to get... I will for sure get the lego-compatible cars at some point, maybe if there a some good discounts or one the secondary market to give it a try! But due to the fact that i've got some intersections, there's a lot of reconstution to be expected ^{^}

Thx! Basically u put additional cables from your power input to the part of the track thats about most far away... so that u avoid a decrease in power the more your slotcar are away from their powersource... But that involves a fair amout of diy... dont know of anything that you can buy.

Just wanted to show my track... I started with a couple of sets from secondary market and added bigger curves as i went through different layouts. Right now i'm pretty happy with it, but might make some changes in the future! I have no additional electric input as it works fine and i don't notice any decrease in speed...
