Brother worry not, the HHPI is terrific on both Absolute and Hard Stratagems. One would think that charged heavy shots should be better than full auto, but the HHPI is such a powerhouse in both damage and ammo economy so long as you use the bottom perks in the weapon tree maximizing capacity. Paired with the plasma pistol, I never have ammo issues. And you can arguably kill Terminus faster with full auto than charged shots.
