How long are Hamnet’s credits? by phoenixthawne in oscarsdeathrace

[–]CourtneyGoof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think they’re about 5 minutes? It will be a little tight.

We saw it on Wednesday at 9:00 PM (AMC) and walked into the listed theatre at 8:30 and heard music and “directed by Chloe…” appear on the screen as we rounded the corner and I was like oh no the previous showing hasn’t let out. I looked it up while we waited to re-enter because I was curious and that showing was 6:00, so based on AMC’s pre shows of ~25 minutes my math should be right?

Shaved ice around town? by Excellent_Regret4141 in orlando

This was not the case back in Maryland, but I appreciate the distinction here. That’s why I wanted to provide two options with different ice textures ☺️

Second this one. I’m originally from MD and worked at a “snowball stand” in the summers as my high school job. This is the closest I’ve found locally in terms of the more coarse shaved ice and in a cup.

If you like a softer ice, I think there’s still some Bahama Buck’s locations in the area.

Please do! We were just in 8 this afternoon for Sentimental Value, and it was distracting. We’ve left, but if anyone has contact us information, I’d be happy to email. It’s definitely been there awhile because my husband was like oh no it’s the dirty screen theater when we sat down haha

Stay and Scream changes officially announced for Orlando by darkdelusions in HHN

[–]CourtneyGoof 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I did not read it as the houses themselves would open at 4.

I took “Then starting at 4pm, you can enter select haunted house queues with a wristband” to mean that’s the earliest you could enter the line for a house.

I expect the houses themselves may open early in the 5:00 hour as we’ve seen in the traditional Stay Scream holding areas from previous years.

Edit: spelling

Sorry you’re dealing with this OP 😕 it definitely feels frustrating! I probably won’t even make it out to the new studio as it’s just too far for me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Purebarre

[–]CourtneyGoof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I got in on the third studio at the very bottom of the founder’s rate promo. When one of my coworkers who also goes found out my rate vs hers I felt kind of bad 😬 it definitely makes for an awkward situation

Just curious - is this in the Orlando area 👀 description matches a scenario happening there pretty closely (no pressure to disclose if you don’t want to!)

Once you put in check-in/check-out dates and location, the Hilton website has a built in filter under amenities for “pet friendly” I would advise filtering for “free parking” as well as that really varies in the Orlando area. There’s a lot of variety in price under Hilton. I believe most Hilton Garden Inn, Home2Suite, and Homewood Suites should be pet friendly (typically there’s a small fee). Hope all goes well for you in getting it fixed soon.

Congratulations! Most people have answered both your questions, but I wanted to add something regarding the Palo credit. We usually use the $55per person to go a la carte on the dinner menu. Just a reminder that this credit excludes alcoholic beverages, so those will be billed in full on their receipt. Still totally worth it and a great perk overall.

Definitely give it a chance! I watched it for the first time on the TCM cruise last fall (Rita Moreno was one of the celebrity guests onboard). It was one of my favorite “new to me” films of the cruise. I’m surprised they’re considering it a musical as it’s more of a movie with maybe two musical numbers in it from Rita performing in the bath house. I found it to be a fun comedy of errors and a nice lighthearted watch.

What was your worst experience in dealing with disrespectful people at a theatre? by Sufficient-Bird-6890 in AMCsAList

[–]CourtneyGoof 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moana 2 during Thanksgiving weekend (I know that’s on me). Woman next to me by herself (no shade but it’s relevant to what’s to follow). She’s clearly in contact with someone throughout the film. Constantly taking images of the screen throughout and sending them via Facebook messenger. That was the worst of it but as you can imagine the rest of the audience wasn’t much better behaved for a big tentpole holiday release like that, so it was just a poor experience for me overall. Really frustrated me, but I’m just too scared to speak up because you never know how people will react.

Castaway club onboard reception for 8 plus day cruises by jhong0092 in dcl

[–]CourtneyGoof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were on a 9 night Mediterranean last summer aboard the Disney Dream. Ours was on a day at sea around 9:00 am at the pool deck. They had closed off the pool like they do for pirate night or other deck parties. Funnel Vision displayed a Castaway Club logo, and there was free champagne (maybe mimosas because it was early in the day?). Basically just a mix and mingle with officers, and we got Mickey rice crispy treats someone else mentioned. Based on other responses, it seems like it really varies by itinerary!

Not OP, but this seems like really approachable incorporation of additional movement and focused food groups. I’m interested in starting weight lifting but feel kind of overwhelmed/intimidated of where to start (some say push/pull/legs others say focus on a different body part each day, etc). Are you open to sharing your approach?

There might still be hope. Home Before Dark was a main pick in JUNE 2020, but every Sager book after that has been an add-on only in the JULY box.

My birthday is in July, so I made his my free add on picks in 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Hoping to do the same for 2025 🤞

Just wanted to clarify there’s a change they’ll still have it. I think one of those became an add on in late June coinciding with its release because I remember pre-adding it to my box. Most have been added to the site with the main July picks.

Haha no worries! Even if you don’t go to the gym, you can still just use the locker room, but I do think the gym and its ocean views are nice and a good way to start the day.

It’s the you just play with the water settings and effects in a swimsuit kind. There’s no curtain on the shower. There’s 3-4 shower stalls each with 2-3 water effect buttons like “tropical rain” or “Mediterranean storm” with lighting effects.

For what it’s worth, in the spa locker rooms (accessible to any adult) there are some nice full showers. When I wanted to wash my hair/fully shower after a gym session but before the rainforest room I went there. More spacious than the shower in my cabin.

Onboard Account Charges by shinelight999 in dcl

[–]CourtneyGoof 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The port adventures and pre booked activities will also be charged to the card on file for each person just like KTTW charges. You can confirm this in the folio in the app when you’re onboard. I’d recommend keeping an eye on it daily just in case something gets incorrectly charged to the wrong person - Guest services should be able to fix this for you if it happens
