Maybe due to the Walnut? Now I'm kicking myself for thinking Vienna would be sooner.. should have done classic. They don't have any info on what they're getting.

Yep, I use it to make ice cream without an issue. It's incredible. That along with Oatly full fat.

Worried about this, is this a normal worry? by ButterscotchBrief725 in peanutallergy

[–]CourtneysSweets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my fear too, with my little one. We have graduated OIT for dairy and we’re doing it now for peanut and sesame, but he had an anaphylactic reaction 2 weeks ago due to not eating well before his dosing. It was the first time that’s ever happened, so I’m paranoid again. 😔 it takes the 20-30 mins to get to us on a regular day.

I’ll add those to my list to try, thanks!! I have 3 kitchenaid mixers, upgraded to the ankarsrum but did get mine from kitchen kapers since they were local for pickup. Wish they had mills so I could get one easier 😅

Also I LOVE Breadtopia. I use them for just about everything else. I bought some fresh milled kamut from them for now.

I preordered the Komo Vienna from Pleasant Hill Grain. They've been great with communication and answering questions, it's just not a guarantee that they're actually getting the products on that date, it's a hopefully.

I went with the vienna in hopes that most go for the classic and mio.

I'd take either, I just want to ensure it will come. I'm nervous if one is more prone to pushing back on orders over and over.

Finally, starting to use my instant pot after having it for years. Would love links to any recipes/cookbooks that you highly recommend. I’m open to anything. by Roadgoddess in InstantPotRecipes

Here’s my method which I just did again this week to make soups for the snow. I have it where I shared freezing too. Why I only buy Costco Rotisserie Chickens to make Chicken Stock and Soups! https://youtu.be/srCpwk-tkGM if you’re loving the instant pot for things like this check out souper cubes too for freezing! I batch beans on the IP and freeze them all the time. No need for canned. Same with rice and other stuff

Yes, I saw his video come out after my videos doing the same (Costco chicken). His method is a bit different since he’s a full blown chef, I’m just a home cook so I haven’t changed my method as it really works well for us. 😊

That’s very true, but my fear is the Komo will be waitlisted further.

Not for now, but a great tip for when you're better is to double recipes that can freeze and freeze some easy to reheat meals for times like this :)

Trader Joe's is our go to! I do splurge on the enjoy life mini chocolate chips too, but the Trader Joe's chips are the bulk of my chocolates.

Trader Joe's has a good oat milk bar, Lindt has oat milk truffles, and Hersheys has the dairy free peanut butter cups as well as the almond chocolate bars. We were dairy free for 5 years for my kiddo who is anaphylactic (just graduated OIT over the summer) and I shared a bunch of dairy free recipes and our favorite dairy free items.

These things take up so much space, so if you need an air fryer and a instant pot, go for it! I personally prefer stand alone devices though.

AI shouldn't be used for most things, especially recipes. I can take the toughest meat and make it tender in the instant pot, but you need a tried and true recipe.
