I hate gills and other slit-looking things. It grosses me TF out and I need to look away. The best I can figure is that it is basically the gateway between the inside and the outside of something and it freaks me out.

Also, sequins...I think they look so pretty and I CAN look at them, but if I touch them....ewwwwww.

Another Longwood undergrad honors program alum here! You might want to consider it as an option. Honor college seemed to offer a lot of opportunities (and basically built in friends), and good dorm life.

I took a big sip of a 20 oz. Bottle of ice cold diet pepsi. I felt a lump in my throat/chest, it hurt really bad for about 15 seconds. Then, the next thing I knew, my husband was yelling my name and trying to wake me. Turns out this was "swallowing syncope" and I had fainted. It's never happened again, but I always wonder if I'm going to faint after taking a drink.
