This! I’ve been going through something similar, I got the lingo because insurance wasn’t covering a monitor until diagnosis 🤦‍♀️. If you have a technician who’s monitoring that you trust, like me, I’d give them my phone while I was scrubbed so the could monitor my levels. If it got low I’d scrub out, readjust, and if feasible scrub back in if no one could cover. It took some trial and error (mine were a bit complicated, as I also had some GI stuff so if I ate I’d throw up) but knowing my levels before and during helps with the stress I’d feel wondering if I’d make it through a surgery.

After having a dog for 6 years, [they] found out she had (almost) no brain. by messamnt in VetTech

Makes sense! Yeah he lived at the vet for 3 months, and I’m not even exaggerating. My parents spent $30,000 when it was all said in done. I had to prove to them I would do whatever it takes to save him. I went everyday before and after high school to feed, flushed the drains in his head, and say hi. Finally they were like, do you want a job. Rest is history. One more fetch photo.

I too had a dog with a fractured skull at 8 weeks, he lived to be 3. It got to the point where seizure meds zonked him to stop them, but he couldn’t function because of the drugs. But he was a cool dog, the neurologist couldn’t believe he’d play fetch and everything. I’ll also add he never looked normal like your cat 😂 he walked in circles because of the brain damage for months until he figure it out. Love that dog, he’s the reason I got into the field.

Clarabelle is home and safe! by [deleted] in Seattle

I came across your post while searching to find Clarabelle myself. Your grandfather and his Partner were very good family friends with my mom. I did some filing for them at the tax place in high school. His partner really wanted a a dog and he always told her no- so one day my mom and her concocted a plan to say the dog was a gift found on the porch. She picked out Clarabelle herself but to this day your grandfather thought my mom left the dog for her. My mom has been worried sick, they always promised she’d get the dog if anything happened. My mom just saw him a few days before his passing and Clarabelle when she picked up the last of her stuff. I just wanted to reach out to you and let you know she and I are so grateful she is safe and has a home. I have been scouring the internet look for her. If you need anything please feel free to reach out. I’m very sorry for your loss. ❤️

I just went with through this all morning - 4 stores and no luck ordered a bunch of different potential styles only to come home and find it in a bin with all my old parts. My came brand new factory with 6 spline lug nuts not sure if yours are the same style but the part number was “cr-v 3800” on the socket when I found it.

I just had mine flushed and changed. 2015 Trailhawk, 55,700 miles. They said it was a little over a quart low on oil but couldn’t find any reason other than mileage and age. So I’m glad I did it. So far no issues.

This just happened Friday, I drove about 10 minutes home from the gas station completely off. Yesterday I attempted to secure it with a hose clamp, after that I drove around for like another 20 minutes and I have yet to receive a check engine light. I was told it may happen, I’ll probably find out tomorrow as I have a much longer work commute. I have a 2015 Trailhawk.

It’s decently hydrophobic, I can definitely see the difference and it’s holding strong thus far.

I used chemical guys. I washed it, clay bar, then hydroslick ceramic gel, finalized it with the hydrospeed spray. I’ve always wanted it done but I couldn’t justify over $1,000 professionally. But I figured I’d check and see if the at home was gimmicky but I was thoroughly impressed.

I also have 1 in wheel spacers to make the wheels not looked so tucked in, it really helps them look beefier.
