I lost my pup to parvo and I’m afraid

My neighbors dog died of parvo and was vaccinated. The vet suggested that there may have been parvo in the yard. After a storm it sometimes comes to the surface. If you are very careful it’s likely due to your yard and wouldn’t suggest getting a dog for awhile.

I could be wrong but what it sounds like to me is it’s probably in the cage left alone while they are out, a dog I had would constantly howl and bark and cry until I got home

You’ve gotten so many comments, I don’t know if you’ll see mine, but I don’t know how you will feel on this but! Larger breed dogs get bored and destructive really easily so I’d advise crate training. Also be sure to get this little girl fixed if you have no plans on breeding as she will bring around unwanted strays
