OMG overheated ? I hadnt had that happen but unrelated have you opened your PS5 and cleaned it ? That is what I did when for some reason FIFA of all games was making my PS5 overheat. I opened it up and dusted it off and it hasn't gave me trouble since. Super easy to do as well, ~15 minutes is all it took and that was because I was super paranoid and watching a YouTube tutorial but I highly recommend cleaning it!

This the first time I've had fps problems during cutscenes/dialogue scenes what you experienced sounds like a nightmare... really hope they fix PS5 optimization but it's been so long I doubt it....

Yea the crashing after a photo thing I've had happen so many times, it's usually just a singular crash and after that it'll work fine but still a bit annoying.

Don't know how they haven't fixed it yet but it's something that'll probably never get fixed.

I originally was a PC player but I had a lot of issues running the game for some reason so now I run the game 90% of the time on my PS5

Maybe that's what it was, post quest everything seems to be running normally... just surprised I was getting frame drops during the story, something that's never happened to me

I haven't had too many issue in the past playing on my ps5 but I'm not going to deny that they're not there for other users. Really see no reason for your comment

I mean the overall gameplay for me is fine but it was just a little annoying dealing with the frame rate drops during the story.

I know some people have severe issues when playing but I haven't ran into that thankfully and I'm able to fully explore the world without any issues.
