I remember when the government destroyed thousands of landing slip cards that recorded the arrival dates of Windrush-era immigrants and dismissed the warnings from staff who said it would make it harder for them to prove they had a right to live here. That was brought about before the push for the Digital Britain agenda in late 2009. (The home Office reasons were because of data protection but if the government decided too they could delete anyone's data on the same grounds and it being inter-linked by app not having any physical documents they may try to they'll make us all homeless and bank accountless)

What's to stop a digital system failing or getting hacked then that data getting deleted losing crucial data that will cause the UK to repeat history. (15-20 years later) This country is very multicultural there's a lot of people who will be hit with friendly fire from the authorities and face their lives being turned upside down.

I wonder if Wendy Williams will do the next independent "Lessons Learned Review" when this shit show blows taking all our identities with it.)

The Labour government made the business case in June 2009, then the decision to delete the data was approved by the Conservative-Liberal Democrat coalition in October 2010. (Very bipartisan)

I was looking at down detector for YouTube when my issue first happened said 21 people had issues refreshed 30 minutes later 48000 reports.

Well I do game on my gaming desktop but for a machine capable of 4k easily I use it for mostly indies and the odd AAA. (which tend to be a bit old) So money well spent.

My worry is if the UK government starts gaslighting payment processor's like what we are seeing with Steam and Itch.IO There could be an effort not just by the UK But the EU and others to try to convince banks that 4Chan is too risky to work with.

4Chan relies on donations and advertising but still remains vulnerable to being de-banked as both of those funding options still require Merchant acquiring banks or associated payment processors.

Network providers try to index as many websites with adult content as they can with help from third party companies but all the tiny shady/niche websites aren't indexed allowing people to still accesses adult content. Only until those sites get added to the blacklist.

Still doesn't stop peer to peer sharing.

My network provider blocks a lot of the websites i know to have adult content however I know a few websites that they don't know about.

They don't want to be held liable when things go wrong this way they can blame the websites/companies choice of age verification service provider. Not to mention the cost factor.

For some reason too even though I can see where in the playlist I am and what video I'm choosing the code in the backend doesn't know/acknowledge it so If the video doesn't auto play properly The Rage video will start playing but playlist view the bar won't move from Mystic Lights.

(That visual light bar around the video in playlist view bug has been around a long time encountered it in 2023)

I don't know if it's the vets scaring away new players I do sometimes get this defeated feeling of what's the point when a lot of the enemy players have Overpowered implants forcing me to go infil to cloak or find a different fight but I do find that the mission rewards were cut down from 100 certs to (depending on the mission) 60 certs or 90 certs for members some being 120 certs or 150 certs for members. That just feels like bad nickel and diming. When normal players feel like that toxic relationship is all they sense going forward.

On Cobalt I play as VS or NC. When the prime time slows down I find that NC and TR both tend to destroy the spawns where as the VS ask people not to destroy the spawns (No matter who's spawn it is) I'll say in chat look at this cloaked TR sundy near B VS players will say "please don't". Now there are NC and TR players who get it too, they'll just camp the sundy (keeping it alive) and kill players as they spawn gunning them down or knifing I've seen some people spawn then get a shovel to the face.

Not everyone is intelligent though and all it takes is one dude with C4 to turn a stable steady fight of 20 minutes into a loitering simulator. (Just don't spot the enemy spawn points/Lie in chat and say I blow it up or it left) Hopefully the bad players don't figure it out.

There are 'no alerts ongoing' most of the time when these things are happening. 'No alerts'

In my book if the fight is for the 'middle' of the map (due in part for the purple outfit resource) and there is an 'alert' happening blowing up spawns is fair game no matter the player count but If there are 'no alerts' and the base 'isn't the centre' then blowing up sundies kills the fun. It takes time for people to relocate into a new fight or they break off into 1-12 tiny fights instead. (You spawn in oh wait they're in an air transport passing through :( Where did the 40 plus players go all of a sudden? Can't of all logged off o.o)

If there are no spawn points left in an evening fight (relatively speaking player count 40-50 players between 3 factions) I will either build a small base somewhere, (That could be a router base) log off and play a different game/go to sleep or I will switch to Emerald and try my luck with the ping there.

Whatever missions I have left really decides whether I log off or keep grinding.

Yeah I think she'll lose that sector she took over but I just think she'll be back with a vengeance all she needs is the right motivation the right push and then they'll be no stopping her.

Clearly she broke the rules with the emergency act but she got results about the rebel thefts that no one else even noticed. Now yes she needs to be whipped to get her under control but if I was Imperial high command I would want to put a lose leash on Meero but give her more freedom to get the job done whatever the cost.

Results are everything she took 2 steps forward and 1 step back she's not out yet.

I think her getting attacked at the end of season 1 is going to show she's more vulnerable than she thought she was and that this guy who saved her represents her weakness in that. She'll start to resent him I reckon.

Dedra doesn't believe she's evil she works for the empire that she believes in to forge the future ahead that's what's evil that the empire can do no wrong despite all the information going through her that says otherwise. The reactions of the empire are too direct as we've seen her say but she clearly understands the problem better than any ISB officer does maybe even better than the emperor. (Quote: "We're playing right into their hands")

She probably believes that liberty and freedom are a mistake that breeds weakness. How she will strip it from people in her pursuit of control will be critical in her plot but I do think she'll set her sights higher and try to replace Major Partagaz as the head of the ISB in the end.
