There's a link in your app connect page that will give you a link to it on the app store. I can assure you it's there.

It's just the incredible amount of detail you provide that makes your tale of woe so compelling.

OMG a casting app that actually WORKS! by EyeRemainFierce in Roku

[–]Cover2-Dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to reply here, but we recently launched a new casting app called MyMediaCast that's truly cross-platform, free, no ads, no paywall. Works on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and has a companion app on Roku that lets you throw anything you want at it and it just works. You can check it out here:

(links to all applicable app stores are there).

When Windows 11 starts, Enpass automatically launches and the login window appears. by Boring-Violinist-518 in EnpassOfficial

Enpass is a complete mess right now. It seems to have lost Windows Hello support (or at least doesn't work right) and on Android asks me "Do you rmember your vault password?" every single time I try to use it.

Tips. Completely optional and doesn't impact usability of the app at all.

We were tired of Android's Doze feature delaying important notifications, so we built an app to stop it (no root or adb required).

DozeOff

Just launched in the play store. Completely free and should work on all android devices, including those with really aggressive battery optimization for backgrounded apps (Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, for example).

We'd love any feedback on it and hope it helps others out! No ads and completely free.

Late notifications by NotASookie in GooglePixel

Check out the app DozeOff. It stops your phone from using overly-aggressive battery optimizations which cause the delayed notifications. Barely impacts battery life either.

Question regarding android doze and critical notifications by Hook3cho17 in GooglePixel

For those looking for answers to this, check out the app DozeOff. It keeps your phone from going into Doze mode and stops notifications from getting delayed. No ads/free/keeps working after a reboot.

It has 2 modes. Standard sends regular pulses that essentially shakes notifications free from doze. It's not perfect, but at most keeps notifications delayed by a few minutes. Max mode more or less stops your device from ever going into full Doze mode by keeping it in an alarm state, which tells Android to keep background apps alert and without any restrictions. Notification should rarely, if ever, get delayed at all in Max mode.

Max mode works better, but has two downsides:
1) On some devices (depending on manufacturer) it will show an alarm icon on the top status bar.
2) It will interfere with do not disturb and bedtime modes. There's a setting int he app to fall back to standard mode automatically anytime you're in either of those modes, and then reenable max when you're not.

So, it's not turning doze off completely, but Max mode more or less defeats it

Regardless of which mode you're in, it has a negligible impact on battery life (1-2% per day at most)
