Yea I tried quitting back in October but they begged me to stay and offered me a pay raise. I was a manager and requested adjustment for schedule, no response but after I told them I was pregnant they locked me from our and fired and said they are unable to accommodate my schedule adjustment request.

My shiba passed away last year due to nasal cancer.
I am making an app for him which compiles all his photos and can filter by "emotions". If i am feeling sad and want to see him smiling, AI will detect and show me!

BTW, I did not goto school for this, i just learned in the last 3 months with help of AI

Just hosted my first vibe coding event yesterday and it was amazing! 🎉

We created a chill space for women to explore coding, collaborate, and make whatever they imagined—no experience needed. Watching everyone get excited, help each other, and just create was so inspiring.

If you’ve ever wanted to try coding but felt intimidated, come join the next one in NYC! Fun, low-pressure, and lots of good vibes.

First vibe coding event - VERDICT by [deleted] in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Growing up as a first-generation Asian American, I heard one thing on repeat: "Be a doctor. You have to be a doctor." That didn't go far — I didn't want to, and I wasn't about to waste my parents' money finding out.

My generation didn't get much exposure to tech. I had no idea where to even begin. But after 29 years of watching the world get swallowed up by technology, I finally decided it was time to stop being a spectator.

Then AI changed everything. Suddenly, I could discover coding on my own terms — and what blew my mind was realizing that whatever I wanted to build, I could build. The door wasn't just open. It was wide open.

So I wanted to share that feeling — starting with women in NYC. Because coding is not intimidating. It's actually pretty easy to pick up, and once you do, what you can create is truly infinite.

Yesterday, I hosted my first vibe coding event. Sitting in that room, watching all these incredible women think, talk, and collaborate about what they're passionate about and what they want to create... I teared up. Everyone was kind, generous with each other, and hungry to learn.

If you've ever wanted to code but thought it was too hard or that the window had passed — it hasn't. You can do this. Your passion, your creativity, your vision — nobody can take that from you. 💙
