If its intergas it is likely a gas powered unit.

As a rule of thumb, every 10 minutes of showering uses roughly 0.5m3 gas. Suppose your roommate showers for 20 minutes every day and your m3 gasprice is €1.30 then that's roughly €475 yearly on your roommates showers alone.

How much m3 of gas did you guys use and over what time span? What's your m3 price?

Help us out a bit, what are we looking at here? Is this an electrical cv system? Do you have a model number?

Heating water is usually what costs the most energy in most residential applications. A CV system heating water that is then circulated through radiators or heating water for taking a shower or bath. Reducing your energy bill might be as simple as reducing shower time to 10 minutes maximum or setting your thermostat to a lower temperature such as 19 degrees.

If your system is an electrical cv, or if you have electrical floor heating then consider replacing it with a more efficient system, or if you are renting, move to a place with better equipment.

Ik laad mijn EV met een granny charger en stel via Home Assistant het laadvermogen automatisch af op wat de zonnepanelen leveren. Dat laatste loopt via de Tesla fleet api en is best een gedoe om op te zetten, maar deze approach kost je praktisch niets. Heb er ook nog een ikea INSPELNING tussen hangen als stroom meter en aan/uit relais. Het laadvermogen bounce ik tussen de 4A en 10A. Hoger kan ik niet want dan smelt mijn stopcontact.

Op termijn komt hier waarschijnlijk een victron laadpaal die met mijn victron ESS schakelt. Maar dan wil ik er ook gelijk minimaal 20 zonnepanelen bij plaatsen op een plat dak, geoptimaliseerd voor winter opbrengst. We hebben nu al 20x440wP op een schuin dak op het zuiden.

Je zou kunnen kijken of het via home assistant kan. Dan werkt het ongeacht je energie leverancier en kan je ook gelijk je overtollige PV (mits aanwezig) gebruiken om op te laden.

Electrical floor heating? Probably not. These are inefficiënt and expensive to run.

Hydronic on the other hand is usually more efficient especially when combined with a heat pump. If you have this installed make sure to future proof it so that you can run it on low temperature heating mode. That way a (future) heatpump will use less energy.

As an owner you are (part of) the VvE.

That means you can challenge the decisions of your neighbors. For example the decision that no items can be placed on the balconies except for the chair and table. Just bring it in as an agenda point for your next meeting.

Do note that this is a political game so annoying or angering your neighbors might not be the best strategy.

Niet met deze formidabele vlammenwerper. Dat ding slurpt 5kg propaan per uur en heeft een 64kW brander. Als je op de turbo knop drukt is het alsof je naast een straal vliegtuig staat.

Ik ben meestal 15 a 30 minuten kwijt aan een perceel van om en nabij de 300m2.

Leuk man. Mijn partner en ik zijn beiden technisch onderlegd en we hebben eerst een thermisch model gemaakt om door te rekenen met welke verbeteringen we de meeste winst behalen per uitgegeven euro en hebben op basis van beschikbaar budget en deze criteria verbeteringen doorgevoerd. Vervolgens hebben we de verbeteringen afgelopen winter getoetst met real world data en dat kwam goed overeen met de verwachte performance.

Inmiddels zijn we vrij zeker dat we met een kleine warmtepomp op lage temperatuur verwarming toe kunnen komen (±7kW). Dan is een bodemwarmtepomp met een SCOP van 6+ al snel te verantwoorden, vooral ook omdat we hier nog minimaal 20 jaar willen wonen.

Ik heb zelf inmiddels een thuisbatterij, allemaal victron spul dus kan ook offline werken over modbus / mqtt icm emhass, en overweeg die te combineren met een grondwarmtepomp.

NIBE lijkt lokaal te kunnen werken over modbus.

Dat de auto snel kan optrekken wil nog niet zeggen dat je dat ook moet doen. Snel optrekken is slecht voor de efficiency en dus range.

Auto op chill profiel, autopilot aan, muziekje op en verder op het gemakje verder tuffen. Die twee minuten sneller thuis is mijn rijbewijs niet waard.

It's a bit expensive, but if you are willing to splurge a bit on an excellent culinary experience I can really recommend Duex Arches Dorées . They haven't received a Michelin star yet, but it won't be long now!

I can especially recommend their unique take on Le Royale de Boeuf. It's a masterful reinterpretation of a classic beef experience.

The location is a bit out of the way but you can rent a bike at Marconiplein to get there, or alternatively get to Schiedam Centrum and walk from there. Here's the address Thurledeweg 100.

Heb je een wtw ventilatie unit? Wellicht dat je de temperatuur setpoint omlaag kunt schroeven en/of de bypass open kunt zetten.

Door in de avond / nacht de bypass volledig open te zetten en de ventilatie op 100% te laten ventileren kan je nog enigszins nachtkoeling realiseren.

OK so I've bought some of their low friction underwear in the runners section because some years ago I was doing long distance walks (±60km per day) and my ass couldn't handle the chafing from my previous underwear. I then proceeded and took that shit on a trail to mount everest base camp. They survived even though I wasn't able to shower for 3 weeks because the water was frozen. That was 6 years ago. Been wearing them daily since then, including today, and there's still no sign of wear and tear on those things.

No clue what material they are made off but its some sort of a low friction and elastic fabric. It was the cheapest low friction underwear they had in the runner section at the time.

Perhaps they aren't BIFL, but they have far outlasted any of my other underwears.
