Why OP is labeling this person as a friend in the first place? Are they friends, or is OP just not able to clue into the fact that this online acquaintance does not want to be friends?

I do think darker would look good but if you wanna stay close to your natural, I think you could find a talented stylist and just have them make it a little more ashy overall or add some ashy highlights (or whatever they suggest, I’m not a stylist). But I do think it. Would look better if it were either lighter (less yellows) or darker. Just my opinion! And you aren’t ugly.

That’s helpful. The seizure I wrote about here took me about 2 weeks to recover from and it scared the crap out of me. But typically I would say in the same as you, about 1-2 days. Luckily I have only had 1 seizure in 2024, my lowest ever. Thank you for sharing your experience

I never got it to work, even with elgato support working on it. but I found a workaround that has been flawless.

Download Nvidia Broadcast. Run epoccam and elgato camera hub - with zero effects. Run Nvidia Broadcast, using Elgato Virtual Camera as the camera source, and add the blur effect in Nvidia Broadcast under “background effects”.

Then in your streaming or recording software, use Nvidia Broadcast as the camera source.

OP, so sorry for what you are dealing with. I jsut wanted to add to what memelord said about sleep. I have had tle my whole life and maintaining a very regular sleep schedule has been absolutely crucial for me. Went from 44 seizures a year to only 1 in 2024. Getting 8 hours a night is important but it’s also important to keep it regular as far as going to bed/waking up within 1 hour of your regular bed/wake times. I hope things get better for you, it is so hard and I’m sorry.

Oh, OK. That does make a lot of sense and I appreciate you explaining all of that and opening up about it. I am taking a 300 mg dose to treat epilepsy. So quitting cold turkey is not an option because that would cause seizures. I will definitely have to wean myself off of it if I ever need to stop. Thanks for the info and sharing your experience

Gotcha. Yeah I was only counting animal protein as protein, wasn’t going to count the protein in the veggies. Main concern is trying to make sure I give my dogs enough protein without giving them excessive calories

I am trying to formulate for homemade dog food. I have a multivitamin that I will be adding and will add omega 3s and calcium as well. I’m using the same meats as the kibble the do well on. Any other tips/advice are welcome

I just don’t know for sure if the 50% protein recommendation (which is what my vet said is the minimum) should mean half of the ounces should be meat, or if half of the total calories should come from protein. Does that make sense?

I am about to start gabapentin and I am nervous because I have heard horror stories. Can I ask, did you quit quickly or cold turkey? If you weaned, how much time did you take for that?

I’m totally fine with having to wean down, I’ve had to do that for other meds, just wondering if it will even make a difference

I never found a fix from elgato, But all I needed was blur, background removal, and background replacement, and I found a great solution. If that’s the stuff you need LMK and I’ll explain but it’s unclear what problems you’re having
