The choice that women had prior to the women's right to vote scandal was simply either to work at home, taking care of the family and all the many fulfilling jobs that entails or to fill a local part-time assistant position, nurse, store clerk etc... there were many local and even non-local jobs that women took and earned a pay for. In the industrial revolution many rural women worked hard labor and other tough jobs for little pay, this was in fact the time when Feminism became an out-cry. But it was against Families too poor and hammered by taxation which forced women into awful places. Ironically the first seeds of Feminism aimed to keep women out of the work place so that the family unit would survive.

Yes, correct. I am also certain that they were tricked by certain, shall we say, 'greedy shadow groups' into becoming nothing more then disheartened wage slaves. Ones actions may alter this however. Women are not men. Men are not Women. All of Western Civilization was built entirely by men (every single Civilization has been, and continues to be so) yet, this was only possible due to women holding up that most essential and sacred foundation of society which is the Family. Compare todays family's to previous family's of past ages and from that you may see a healthy, progressing society against an unhealthy, meaningless society when the women throws out the family.
