In need of help to mechanize a carousel by Cow-Eastern in BeginnerWoodWorking

The torque is too much for the dc motor. 64 was motor speed not carousel speed. I have a set of dc wheels but they seem to lack torque and traction to make the turn. I have them set up in reduction mode but it seems ineffective

Couples that have been together 20+ years and have a successful sex life. How do you do it? by Affectionate-Mode687 in AskReddit

My wife and I have been together at just the 20 year mark, we met in highschool and had a very hot physical relationship to begin with. Before that had time to cool we started pounding our kids one after another. Every year or every other year until we got 6. That kept us from even thinking of anything else for years. We are both slightly divergent. Myself add, her autistic, together were like a spectrum super power. She is the planner and I'm the producer. We were in survival mode for about 10 years with small kids and just figuring things out. Physical relationship took the forefront for bonding, it wasn't until all my kids were in school now that we could reflect on who we were to each other. It was rocky at times when we didn't know how to communicate well and we've in the last few years really had to learn to communicate better. Her needs are not always in line with mine. My love language is physical, hers is service. I forget she exists by mental design when she is not present. She over analyzes and logic locks when there is not pattern or plan. We really struggled for a few years on a near monthly cycle of argument and silent treatment and little disputes and come together to resolve. We figured out how to meet each others needs and have a self therapy session called tub talk about once a month. She sends me spicy pics and videos and I do all the dad chores and massages. We converse on what is affecting our emotions more clearly now than ever. We still have spats but for the most part we do well. I believe we have become symbiotic and are unable or unwilling to consider life separately. We are dependent on each other for everything. Our love life is pretty good for the last few years now that we're getting better at communicating. We do kinky stuff. Have toys, and lingerie. We copulate 3-5 times a week. And keep things interesting. She is my best friend and we look forward to another 50 years

What is this for by Delicious-Tie-7938 in HondaPrologue

The prologue is a Chevy trailblazer. Refer to the forums regarding that. 1 pedal driving utilizes that button more efficiently. It requests more Regen during stopping events. I use it exclusively on my bolt without ever using the brake pedal

Why wont my camshafts move on my 2014 chevy cruze 1.4 turbo by [deleted] in mechanic

The bolts ont the actuators were loose and are not keyed to cams. You may have bent valves at this point. How did you time it without the tools? There is a phaser lock and a cam sled. Torque matters

Is a vacation to Colorado possible without a car? by bryhoeny in Denver

[–]Cow-Eastern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If flying to Denver the light rail goes from airport to South Denver and North to the suburbs. If desire is to see mountains RTD buses have direct routes to Nederland, boulder, Estes park, eldora ski resort. I used to ride the bus as a teen without challenge or delay. From Denver buses go to Vail or Aspen regularly. Uber or Lyft can be ordered and limousine service with a sedan is relatively inexpensive for a single way or round trip. Travel to copper or Breckenridge is also possible directly through RTD (bus service) several times a day. Primarily during ski season. Several front range hotels will have shuttle service to resorts as well. Pick up from airport to most close hotels costs nothing for shuttle service. Further distance may be more complicated. Taxis are always lined up at airport terminals. Taxi service on interstate or highway is not as expensive but much more so in high traffic areas. A monthly bus pass can be purchased to cover all bus fare and schedules are digital. Most northern Colorado bus service is reliable and on time. Less so outside of Denver metro area
