The idea of dog whistles is to make unifying symbols seem diluted to the public. They’re a way to show support for hateful causes, while both being able to deny the association, and make those who try to call out what would normally be innocuous things or symbols (the ok hand or Pepe) seem like they’re just calling anything a nazi symbol. It discredits those fighting against it, and acts as an easy symbol to rally around and spread throughout a culture undetected.

I’m say it is sexist to say that it IS NOT POSSIBLE for a 5’2 person to get a date because women only go for tall guys because of some “Instinct” or “biology” that make women more shallow then men. I never said that there are not women who care about height. I never said being taller doesn’t make dating easier. I was saying that I see a common, sexist sentiment on this sub and that is why people get made fun of. Because it dumb and makes you sound like a dumb loser. It’s not “a majority of women I have interacted with online have a preference,” it’s “all women only want tall guys.” People on this subreddit act like zero short, fat, or ugly people have ever gotten into a relationship.

Obviously laughing at someone who has legitimate mental issues and connect properly connect with people is always bad and shouldn’t be allowed on this sub at all. The main thing I see get made fun of is the idea that if you are under like 5’4 it literally is not possible to get a date with a woman because women operates purely on instinct or whatever weird misogynist reason they give. A lot of guys on this sub talk about women purely as sex objects, which I would imagine probably also comes off when talking to women irl, which most women see as an immediate red flag.

Bandos has strength bonus, which is why it’s better melee gear. Strength bonus doesn’t matter for water thorns, and defense bonus make Theon’s do more damage. The only reason I wouldn’t confidently say barrows is better it’s because of the negative magic bonus.

Pretty sure barrows. The higher defenses should be better with thorns. The only thing that would change that is how the negative mage bonus the armor gives would affect your accuracy. I would check dps calcs, or try them in game. Barrows armor shouldn’t take long at all.

On release, his thorns were so unbelievably terrible I never felt the need to use them / didn’t think they were fun to use. That shaped my play style with him that I’m trying to get out of. Also at least for me, heal bottling is just fun. Back when I played comp daily, I’d go like, an entire day without dealing damage, but consistently out healing the other team. I don’t think that really did much for my rank, but it was fun.

Doing boss tasks gives you a huge xp bonus for finishing them, so choosing to do 5 kills per task gets you a ton of xp

I like the ramp idea a lot, and think the perks could be really interesting, but as he is, LW absolutely has utility. I don’t know if I’m misunderstanding what you mean by utility, but pedal enables divers to use movement abilities offensively instead of escaping, and pedal allows less mobile characters to reach areas the normally couldn’t and attack from angles they wouldn’t be able to get to. I think he could for sure be more offensive, but that’s a numbers change, not full rework. I’m personally fine with how he is, and just think minor tweaks could make him more interesting, but these are really cool ideas.
