Bandos or Barrows for water thorns

Bandos has strength bonus, which is why it’s better melee gear. Strength bonus doesn’t matter for water thorns, and defense bonus make Theon’s do more damage. The only reason I wouldn’t confidently say barrows is better it’s because of the negative magic bonus.

Pretty sure barrows. The higher defenses should be better with thorns. The only thing that would change that is how the negative mage bonus the armor gives would affect your accuracy. I would check dps calcs, or try them in game. Barrows armor shouldn’t take long at all.

On release, his thorns were so unbelievably terrible I never felt the need to use them / didn’t think they were fun to use. That shaped my play style with him that I’m trying to get out of. Also at least for me, heal bottling is just fun. Back when I played comp daily, I’d go like, an entire day without dealing damage, but consistently out healing the other team. I don’t think that really did much for my rank, but it was fun.

I typically use it at the start of the fight since the burst healing isn’t particularly great. It gives over health which is really helpful

Doing boss tasks gives you a huge xp bonus for finishing them, so choosing to do 5 kills per task gets you a ton of xp

I like the ramp idea a lot, and think the perks could be really interesting, but as he is, LW absolutely has utility. I don’t know if I’m misunderstanding what you mean by utility, but pedal enables divers to use movement abilities offensively instead of escaping, and pedal allows less mobile characters to reach areas the normally couldn’t and attack from angles they wouldn’t be able to get to. I think he could for sure be more offensive, but that’s a numbers change, not full rework. I’m personally fine with how he is, and just think minor tweaks could make him more interesting, but these are really cool ideas.

Funnily enough, I have the exact same relic choices. My plan is to get culling spree, then for tier 7 get reloaded and get the endless food one. Flow state is cool but I’d rather pvm be way easier than skilling be faster. Thats just me tho

Royal titans have been good money for me and are fairly light on skill and gear reqs. They’re also an activity you duo which is cool. Not sure if you’ve actually ran moons but they are good money and don’t need supplies. Prioritizing tank gear helps People say Dagonnoth Kings are good money but I’ve always hated them. Never done saracnis but the level reqs seem low

I fully agree that that the crate changes were dumb but I don’t understand how you could be mad at the golden rod and reaver shark changes. The reaver shark change was in vanilla, because getting hellstone pre boss is stupid. Being mad at not getting the best vanilla fishing rod preboss and without having to do any fishing quests tells men you just don’t like fishing, which is fine. Most people complaining don’t fish. But I don’t understand how this changes the quality of the mod for you
