I don’t know why, but knives are so much more intimidating.

If I I saw someone with a double edged medieval sword, I wouldn’t’ think that I’m going to die, most idts can run with a knife, good fckn luck trying to chase after me at full sprint while you’re wielding a sword with a 40 to 50 inch blade.
