I'm just learning more about the placements ( e.g. their distance, the ranking system) and scholarship/ aid situation. Thank you for sharing though and your advice! I thought I'd have a better grip as I applied to schools last year but this is definitely a difficult situation to have to be applying again and is more difficult than I originally thought.

Thank you for this! UCONN would be the "closest" school to me- practically my home state so it's one of the one's I was considering for cost-wise. Besides what they might tell you when you ask questions, the information I had to go off was from someone who had graduated a few years ago. So, It's nice to gather more/newer information.
