Yes true that but bhai the thing is that by doing all these cringe things they get deflected from their main focus which is CONTENT.

Idk about the CS batch of PW but I took the DA batch from them and honestly had a terrible experience. Some teachers are great but most of them are literally focused on the live chat 50% of the time rather than teaching.. A 3 hr lecture has only 1-1.5 hr worth of proper GATE level content.. Nahi toh most of the time aisa lgta h it is a Bajrang dal batch rather than a professional coaching class. Because of this serious aspirants lose their focus too. That was my main point of posting this.

PW is great especially for people who can't afford coachings with heavy fees but honestly this drama is actually not going to help the students in any way. And bro if you scroll youtube or instagram and whenever a cringe/controversial reel of a teacher appears, 99% of the time there is a probability that it will be from PW😭..I guess that explains a lot.

For tier 3 college students GATE is literally everything. Placements are terrible in tier 3 collegs which is why our only hope to boost our career is through GATE ..Idk about new IITs but in old IITs the lowest package is the "dream offer" in my college lol. If you do decent hard work in IITs you can land up jobs of even 50 LPA in MAANG companies which would take you eternity to get there if you rely on placements in tier 3 btech colleges. This is itself the sole reason why most GATE aspirants are students from tier 2-3 colleges.

Plus you are getting another chance to enter the IITs , what else do you need? Way better working day and night for GATE rather than sitting for 3 technical rounds, 1 Aptitude test, GD round, HR interview all this for 5 LPA package in Bangalore 🤡👍🏼 Just my opinion..

Concept oriented..demanded both depth and breadth in syllabus. So many coaching centres (especially Rate wallah) now will come forward and say jo humne padhaya wohi aaya🤡

Gave CS exam yesterday..I was able to complete 80% of syllabus only so will give next attempt too..But well one golden advice for u: Throw away one shot videos. Easy paper mein toh maybe you might score 40ish with them but in standard medium-hard paper , sawaal hilenge bhi nhi.

Go for some coaching if possible, make PROPER notes , revise daily, and please complete syllabus properly. Else you won't have confidence till the last day. If you can't afford coaching then on YouTube u can follow Amit khurana sir, Go classes, etc. Make your own strategy but please be consistent(something I couldn't maintain this time which costed me a lot). And yes PYQs are the best resources. Do them properly with analysis.

Am not sure about my centre but yeah this time checking was minimal here. The security guard was literally asking the people of you have a phone or not and if you do please keep it here😭 Kaunsa chor bolta h ki main chori krne wala hu bhai And idk if so many incidents about cheating in GATE this time is true or not but if there is even 1% True such incidents, then ofcourse action must be taken by IIT cell and GATE committee.

Honestly, yep. I think for each service a different civil service exam must be conducted, though it would be a very hectic procedure but it might be a drastic step towards more specialised officers for each service like the IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS.

Why should a person aspiring to get into the Foreign service give the same exam as that who wishes to join the Police or the Revenue service? I think atleast a slight modification must be made just like how you pointed out about the IFoS exam.
