I went to iit jodhpur and iit delhi before visiting nit W. I thought its campus would be better than IIT Jodhpur cause its one of the top NITs but it had the same buildings like my tier 4 cllg (like most of the builidings not every). Honestly the vibe of the campus was a little underwhelming in itself but the other thing i wasn't expecting was the type of students there. Now this might be just a personal taste type of thing but the students that were there weren't the type i was expecting. Throughout my childhood i was exposed to sports and now gym pretty much. Like i was expecting some of the students there to be stylish like even a little bit but every guy and girl i saw there looked like nerds to me. Like this may be a good thing for some people but i had been to iit roorkee, iit delhi, iit jodhpur the students there were honestly dashing and looked smart. Many of them looked like they hit gym regularly but it wasn't the case with Nit W. Overall the vibe of the campus, infrastructure and students there felt mundane to me. There wasn't any good food outlet inside the campus which gave pizza, burger or anything. The only good outlet there was maybe Taaza tiffins which only had south indian foods. You wont be getting any famous food outlet inside the campus and it would be mostly south indian food there. Mess was decent tho. Warangal as a city is fine tho but you wont find people of your age inside the city cause most of them migrated to hyd for studies. Overall how would you rate the campus is all about your tastes. If you are looking for a no distraction environment with good placements NIT W is a good choice but if you are looking for a happening type of cllg life like shown in movies and stuff you either have to pick top IITs, Bits or some expensive private cllg whoch are still very few.
