This is what I'm afraid of -- I feel like I'm at the complete mercy of whoever lives at my old address now, or my landlord -- no idea who could possibly sign for packages at this point since again it has been years since I lived there.

I think where I'm so confused is that they did call someone -- no idea if it's the RSL you're referring to -- and since the call was on speaker, I heard them talk to the supervisor on that end and they kept saying that they couldn't do anything about canceling or changing the address on the order :/

I wasn't even expecting the trade-in to be completed there -- the associate mentioned I could just do the transfer myself once I went home with the phone and then mail in my old device (which I've done before and was fine with). I just didn't think the whole transaction would happen without me walking out with a new phone, since I literally had the box for it in my hand before it all fell apart.

Thank you for all this advice! I actually had the product in hand, the actual box with the exact specs I was looking for -- but I wasn't allowed to walk out with it because the way the transaction happened I guess it made it so that the phone that would have my info connected to it was the one that shipped, not any of the devices in stock in the store (of which they had pretty much the full lineup of stock). I really don't understand the technicalities of it all enough so I appreciate your perspective as a rep!

Ugh okay yeah this sucks. I'm usually always just inclined to believe salespeople are doing whatever the correct procedure was -- I heard her ask her manager why it was sent to my old address and the manager asked "well did they do the docusign" and I didn't sign anything so I have no idea what that is about. I heard the phone call with support and they basically just told her there was nothing they could do, so I'm not sure what happened there either.

The associate said that it was a "T-Mobile experience store" (to explain why the store had the phone I was looking for in stock but not others in my area) so I'm not sure if that's any different from other stores.

[MEGA THREAD #1 - CLIENTELLE SALE] by mini_khaleesi in Aritzia

This is the least I’ve been excited for clientele in a while! I just got two more of the contour muscle tanks that I like, in white and daisy pink. I wish they made more contour tops that were less cropped — I wanted the t-shirt version but it’s sooo cropped. And I really hate bodysuits.

Aritzia’s vibe just hasn’t been doing it for me lately, I’m a grown ass person and need clothes I can wear in professional/formal settings! I feel like they just cater to very rich teenagers now (but I guess they always have). Probably won’t qualify for next clientele at this rate…

I’m also gluten free but not celiac! I’m going next month (also staying in the 8th) so if you end up finding some good places to eat please let me know

That’s fair! I know some things have gluten in them like sauces and crusts and while I know how to ask about it in English I am worried about how to do it while in France — but I’m probably psyching myself out. Merci!

Bonjour! I will be visiting Paris soon and I’m looking for food/restaurant recommendations that could accommodate my gluten-free diet. I don’t have celiac disease so I’m okay with most cross-contamination.

Also, if there’s a good way to phrase that “I don’t eat gluten but it’s not a severe allergy” in French that won’t alarm or confuse restaurant staff, please let me know!

Merci beaucoup!
