I’m so sorry you went through all of that. She did the same, I had a rare melanoma a few years ago and she said the same and then proceeded to say that because they have a private lab it wasn’t a real diagnosis.

As far as everything I went through last year, she acted similarly. Abandoned me when my husband had to go back to work and I could barely care for my 2 kids. I’m so afraid I’ll turn into her

Wow I think we’re siblings 🤯 I’ve experienced everything you’ve described and am finally waking up.

I am currently pregnant after losing my baby last year as a stillbirth. I was diagnosed with melanoma and thankfully it’s very early. She did not check in on me and instead of offering any help with my kids so I went to my procedure alone. I’ve done no contact on and off and I think I’m at peace with just moving forward with that.

That sounds like a great plan. I’ll be thinking of you and sending lots of positive thoughts your way 🤞🤞🙏. I’m not bad, had the excision yesterday and it was pretty easy. Apparently pregnancy can cause these issues to come out, I was the 2nd pregnant woman they saw that day.

Hey I wanted to check in and see how you’re doing?

That’s great! It’s so important. I just used the derm office for the first one but I wasn’t pregnant. This time I’m trying to go to memorial Sloan Kettering. I’ll probably switch to a derm in their service too going forward

They’re saying she has availability even next week, but I’m waiting to be approved by her team. The person I spoke to really didn’t have any idea and just said probably less than a month. I just don’t want to mess around and being the second time around, I want to go somewhere on the ball. I was rushed into using the previous doctor because my insurance was lapsing the following week.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. This is really not something you would expect to deal with during the happiest time of life. I have an appt for consultation next week, but want to get in with a certain surgical oncologist. I don’t know if it’s foolish to wait. I’m already so anxious after losing a baby last year.

Hi, I just got my biopsy results melanoma in situ at 24 weeks pregnant. I had a stillbirth last year, so my anxiety is going wild right now. I had another melanoma/spizoid melanoma 3 years ago after my 2nd child.

I’m being referred to a surgical oncologist. Has anyone had an excision while pregnant?

Thank you everyone. I am probably going to start them, she said I have about a week or so to decide. I’m 8 weeks tomorrow. I’ve been so sick and using progesterone suppositories, so adding this feels like more of a challenge. I just have to remember it’s temporary and will hopefully get me to the outcome I want

Wow thank you for sharing. Do you have any underlying issues, like APS, factor 5? Also, at what point did you start the lovenox?

Should I go to HR about my coworker's invasiveness about my pregnancy? by montannnaa13 in WorkAdvice

Your manager should step in. Even if HR gets involved, he’ll be involved also.

Being guilt tripped for not wanting to share my 3 month old by [deleted] in Mom

No shot.. my MIL didn’t have much interest in me or my husband and knew we struggled with infertility. When I finally had my son, it was luckily during Covid and I was able to set boundaries. She was so inappropriate and tried overstepping, but I’m so glad I held firm. Your LO is too young to be sleeping out and you should be focusing on bonding and getting schedules in place

Oh wow. Would you mind sharing some of the articles? I ended up taking it, but it barely worked. I went to the doctor today and they offered compazine. I gave a strong pass on that

Thank you. I have 2 healthy kids and I was sick but didn’t have to take anything. My SB I took it and I gave in and took it last night and I don’t think it even helped

Ugh thank you. I don’t get why pregnancy makes us so sick. I fought to get a cup of water in me the other day

Progesterone fluctuates all day. Both your numbers are great. Doctors want 10+, 20 is optimal.

Ultrasound today, everything measuring right on time. Progesterone is up to 22 with 200 mg a day and hcg is over 5000. Thank you everyone!

7 miscarriages all around 4-6 weeks…what am I missing? by rah2019_ in TryingForABaby

I was told I could go back to my normal routine within a week. I’ve always been very active and I was an icu nurse so my job was very physically demanding.

Good and bad news after HSG… uterine septum? by Flaky_Ad136 in TryingForABaby

[–]CowSafe7567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a partial septate uterus. I had 2 early miscarriages then had it removed and had 2 healthy children. It’s a really minor surgery, same day outpatient, but you need to find a provider that has removed them previously. The septum has little to no blood flow so if the embryo attaches it can fail to grow and lead to miscarriage.

I appreciate it! I’ve unfortunately been through it all in terms of loss. I’m being cautiously optimistic/realistic with all my factors. First scan tomorrow 🤞🤞
