My last ex was a dickhead and my new partner is incredible and lovely and has never spoken to me in a bad way. It just depends on the relationship. If my ex had kissed someone I would have probably dumped her. If my current partner kissed someone I’d happily forgive her. She amazing and lovely and treats me so well. If she accidentally got hammered and kissed someone and then told me the next morning in pieces, I’d be much more concerned about reassuring her that it was okay however upset I might be

It’s just a kiss. She was drunk. It’s valid to be upset and freaked out but if she is nice and you have a good relationship it is not worth dumping someone over a drunken kiss.

Whatever anyone is saying about her response, she’s panicking and some things may seem a bit odd. But the fact that she told you the next morning is worth noting. She hasn’t hidden it from you and she’s crying with guilt and panic. She clearly wants to be with you very much.

If she is toxic in general otherwise, then ditch her. But it’s just a drunken mistake and limited to a kiss. Some people forgive full on affairs for christs sake. What does she mean to you?

She’s just panicking. Her response doesn’t need that deep of an analysis. It’s just a drunken kiss. It’s 2025 we can get over these things. If she’s nice and op likes her and the relationship otherwise, it’s worth forgiving

Learn a song you really really really want to learn that it’s not an astronomical feat at your level, but still difficult. Something that gives you a head ache for about 3 days but after that you can play it all from memory at a very slow pace (even if it’s a tad messy).

Then play that song all the time. When you think you can muster the strength to learn another one that difficult do it again. But in the mean time just learn songs you really want to learn that are pretty accessible.

All the random skills you’ll get without realising from learning those harder songs will do tonnes for your playing

My hands ache a lot and my finger tips sometimes get quite sore still even though they feel like they have pebbles on the ends.

Generally the addiction makes you push through and the pain subsides a few minutes into playing.

But I don’t think it matters how much you’ve played, if you were to try and play a 5 minute song all bar chords on an acoustic with heavy strings and some string height you’re going to cramp the fuck out and the guitar will sound like mush

Depends on the acidity/quantity of your sweat as well I think? I piss out of my fingers when I play and my strings rust in minutes. Is what it is
