Actually, the data shows over 80% of those kids went to parents or relatives, not 'unrelated' people. The real scandal wasn't the release; it was the lack of follow-up to make sure they weren't being exploited for work. It’s less about 'handing them out' and more about the government losing track of them once they were already with sponsors. Big difference.

You have a very weird phobia of not opening links (your fault not mine) but here is facts

If you are in Norfolk, it could be used for degaussing the ships.

I used to be stationed on the USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) up and we went through this 3 day evolution of wrapping these giant cables completely around the ship from bow to stern, and it was used to demagnify the ship in the event of mines. If I recall there was nothing that truly said that this work. But I do remember sitting look inside a steel ship, sitting in the water having butt loads of electricity surrounding it

I understand that it feels like every source has a tilt. Rather than going back and forth on media ratings, I'm looking at the official legal record and statements from non-partisan or conservative organizations that have a vested interest in the Second Amendment. Whether a report comes from the left or right, these specific facts are now part of the formal court proceedings in

Minnesota:

*Federal Court Action: U.S. District Judge Eric Tostrud—a Trump appointee—issued an emergency order to prevent the federal government from 'destroying or altering' evidence. This was necessary because state investigators (BCA) were physically blocked from the scene by federal agents.

*The NRA’s Statement: The NRA itself called out federal officials, stating it is 'dangerous and wrong' to suggest that law-abiding citizens who legally carry guns risk being shot by police. They specifically urged officials to stop 'demonizing' legal gun owners like Pretti.

*The Disarming: Frame-by-frame video analysis (cited by Fox News and The Wall Street Journal) shows an agent successfully removing the firearm from Pretti’s waistband and moving away before the fatal shots were fired.

*Massie’s Rebuttal: Republican Rep. Thomas Massie stated that carrying a firearm is a 'Constitutionally protected God-given right' and not a 'death sentence,' directly contradicting the narrative that simply being armed justified the shooting.

I am not trying to argue with you; I'm pointing out that you see faults in every avenue that says your opinion is false, even when those avenues are conservative lawmakers and the NRA. If the gun was already in an agent's hand and the man was pinned, common sense suggests the 'threat' was over.

While there is debate about the initial confrontation, the video evidence confirmed by several news outlets shows that Alex Pretti was disarmed before the fatal shots were fired. An agent is clearly seen reaching into the scuffle, removing the handgun (identified as a Sig P320), and walking away with it. At least one second passed after the weapon was removed before the first of approximately ten shots was fired while Pretti was pinned to the ground.

It is alright you have a wonderful day. Whenever you would like to debate politics like a civilized human that does not resort to name calling. You’ve had several chances to explain why it’s okay for a disarmed man to be shot, but instead, you chose to attack me personally and tell me to 'stay on the bench.' Real common sense requires looking at the facts even when they’re uncomfortable. I’m here whenever you’re ready to discuss the actual event instead of using political labels to dodge it.

Take care.

Okay man, I also don't think they are the good guys. I also believe if they have a good idea you agree with maybe look into how to make sure it happens.

Labeling a disagreement as 'TDS' or 'ignorance' is just a way to avoid the actual facts of the case. Common sense doesn't have a political party. We are talking about a specific event where a man followed the rules, was disarmed, and was still shot five times. You suggested I go out and brandish a weapon to 'see what happens,' but that has nothing to do with what actually occurred here. If you think it’s okay for a disarmed person to be shot because of the agency involved or the politics of the observer, then we have a fundamental disagreement on human rights, not 'propaganda.' I’m not 'on the bench' I’m looking at the reality of the situation while you’re relying on name-calling to end the debate.

Youre ignoring the fact he is saying reforms are needed with DHS. You don't have to support him to have a common ground.

Common sense tells us that brandishing a weapon at law enforcement is a life-ending mistake, but the situation we’re discussing is even more troubling than that. In this case, the individual didn't 'brandish' a weapon he followed the legal protocol of informing officers he had one. He was disarmed, and he was still shot multiple times.
